Try to listen to this piece and listen to what Richard Clarke says about Obama and the war and how Obama has said things earlier which the Bush administration chastised him on and then did the very same thing on 4 seperate occasions. Now this is Richard Clarke who worked under Bush senior Clinton and Bush Jr. I would think that this fellow Clarke would know a whole hell of a lot more then a guy like Shawn Hannity or Rush Limbaugh.

i am not going to listen to what richard clarke has to say because i have no interest in what he has to say...

but i do want to apologize to you for my nasty remarks towrds you yesterday...it wasn't right & i did something that i have tried to avoid since i have been here...politics is a heated subject & sometimes we sometimes let our emotions take over.....but please don't call people who disagree with you ignorant & please don't pigeon-hole people because the issues are too complicated to always follow a specific party or way of thinking..

So very sad. I think they call it tunnel vision.

first off i don't have to listen to somebody just because you asked for it...

2nd i know that obama was against the iraq war from the beginning..& i don't care if the bush administration criticized him for it....because the bush administration is irrelevant to the upcoming election.....

and if i were you i wouldn't go around telling people that they have tunnel vision since you are the most narrow minded person on the forum...anybody who reads what you have to say can just tell you have blinders on...that is what bohica was telling you the other day...but like usual you didn't get it.....but what else is new...

and finally all somebody has to do is read each our politicalposts over the years to see who between us really has tunnel vision.....

Great piece Sponge. But I wouldn't expect any of the pro Bush guys to listen to Clarke. He was right about Iraq so he has been made to look like an idiot by the Corporate Press. You know, the one they think is liberal.

stevie...it's redundant if you already know obama's position on iraq.....& he was wrong about the surge not working.....so now what ?

and i guess you missed my posts that were critical of bush....typical.

Its comical the reasons they come up with. Stevie if Obama asked Hagel to be the VP i would be fine with that. He is a Republican. Those with tunnel vision wouldn't understand this.

here is another example of why you are clueless...hagel will never be the vp under obama because he is pro-life...& that is against the democratic platform....

Al you are trying to argue both sides against the middle. I say going into Iraq was wrong. You say it was right but that it was a disaster because Bush handled it wrong. After 5 years Bush ordered the Surge and now everything is ok. If only they did it your way from the beginning. Surge or no surge, pullout or stay 100 years, this Invasion has bee way too expensive and we couldn't afford it. Sure the insurgents pulled back during the surge but what is to say they will not return?

i hate to break it to you but Kerry asked McCain to be his VP. You would never in a million years see a phony conservative try to unite the country by asking a dem to be the VP. I never said he is going to ask Hagel i said if he asked him i would be fine with it.

Stevie the only reason he thinks the surge is working is because that is the big company talking point they keep drilling in these gullible fools. We shouldn't have even be caring if it works or not because we shouldn't be there in the first place but we let these lying shit bags lie us right into it. Now this so called surge he talks about? The reason violence is down is because our tax paying money is now writing checks to the same guys who were killing us a year ago:shrug: . Its the dirty little secret the shepperds hide from their little naive sheeps.

spongy....we know who clarke is...clarke`s a partisan hack....in the same mold as joe wilson....he`s to bush what dick morris is to hillary clinton...

what`s he gonna say that isn`t partisanship to the nth degree?...

what`s really hilarious, spongy,is you of all people whining about open-mindedness....

if i explained to you that oil dropped over $9 a barrel after president bush mentioned drilling off shore, and if congress would start giving a shit about their constituents and address it in a similar manner, oil may well drop another $20 a barrel, would you comprehend and consider the connection?...

of course not...cause that might be seen as benefitting the republicans in some way shape or form....

why on earth should congress help their constituents by considering ALL ENERGY RESOURCES(wind, solar AND DRILLING,NUCLEAR) when they can drag their feet, blame it on the gop/bush admin.(who refuse to go on offense for some strange reason)i and hope that their vapid, inexperienced windy city hack/community organizer gets voted in come november.....

the dems better get on board with drilling for our own oil and nuclear power or they might just get dummied again come november...

tunnelvision mentality....you think it`s a bag shot for bock?...actually,i did,too...but the polls are saying something different...

be careful....this could pale in comparison to you guys losing to a lame gwb twice in a row....

keep staring straight ahead...stay in that trance....

See, they are not going to listen to a guy who was right about everything. Instead Weasel brings up Oil. Wease, why don't they drill on the leases they all ready have? Do you think maybe because they finally have the price up to a level where they feel it would be worth their while to drill? But no, you can go on and blame the Dems and their small majority while not blaming the Republicans who had SIX YEARS of everything they wanted. Why didn't they want to drill then?

the hilarious part is that i would read something they put up and debate it without using labels like "partison hack" and the rest of this kind of garbage. Now it is me that has tunnel vision :mj07: Stevie this justs show you how limited their news sources are. They believe the same guys who have been caught lying over and over again and use the same weak bullshit labels like liberal and partison hackm because they don't like to read. No wonder they are so gullible. Look how the head Pigeon Weasel is getting sucked into the drilling saga. I never saw a person get this played in my life.

He's been very critical of Clinton and Bush. You'd like him half the time.

if i explained to you that oil dropped over $9 a barrel after president bush mentioned drilling off shore, and if congress would start giving a shit about their constituents and address it in a similar manner, oil may well drop another $20 a barrel, would you comprehend and consider the connection?...

There's not one economist that would support that cause and effect.

tunnelvision mentality....you think it`s a bag shot for bock?...actually,i did,too...but the polls are saying something different...

nope

Watch Clark - you'll like him. You'd see that our military leaders are emphasizing Afghanistan, noting the problems on the Pakistan border and looking to take the attack there (something we've done 4 times since Hussein was chasticed for suggesting it) and you'll also note that our government will be sitting down with Iran over their nuclear program.

All points Hussein made a year ago.

Imagine how great he'll be once he gets some "experience"
