Allman Bros w/ Lesh and Friends

I am going to this show 10-8 at the Orange Beach Amphitheater. Curious if anyone from here is planning on being there?

Wow Cie, nice concert.

I have seen The Allman Bros at least 5 times and they were great.

Just saw Lesh at a 4th of July festival here in Sioux City and they were excellent.

The Allman Bros played here last nite. Heard it was great. Bob Weir and Ratdog opened and played a 2 hour set. Heard they were good too.

The brothers still put on a great show. Derek Trucks alone is worth the show kid is just spectacular. Warren Haynes kicks ass too you'll love the show :toast: :clap:

from hitting a truck hauling peaches. Hence, the
Eat a Peach Album. Much like Lynard Skynard, no
telling how far those bands would have gone.

I stand corrected, for decades I thought a peach
truck was involved.
The album name "Eat a Peach" actually came from
something Duane said in an interview shortly
before he was killed. When asked what he was
doing to help the antiwar effort, Duane replied,
"There ain't no revolution, it's evolution, but every
time I'm in Georgia I eat a peach for peace, the
two-legged Georgia variety."

Seen Haynes and his gang of Gov't Mule a few times. These mothers rock. Loved it each time. The cloud of smoke permeating the rooms didn't hurt said enjoyment. Should be an older crowd for the Allman's. Heard some good, long live versions of Whipping Post--love that tune.
