It just keeps getting busier and busier as we slowly make our way toward the Fall, the most hectic time on the sports calendar. This week we feature a pair of important MLB tilts, Week 3 of the NFL preseason, and the final Grand Slam tennis championship of the year. On Friday night, the New York Yankees try to keep their run of 13-straight postseason appearances going when they visit the Baltimore Orioles. On Saturday, a pair of American League division leaders square off when the Tampa Bay Rays visit the Chicago White Sox. Also Saturday, the Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Minnesota Vikings in NFL preseason action. And in Hot Props, new World No. 1 Rafael Nadal is the favorite heading into the 2008 U.S. Open Tennis Championships, which starts Monday.

The New York Yankees try to keep their sputtering postseason hopes alive when they visit the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards Friday night.

The Yankees will start righthander Mike Mussina, who is 16-7 record with a 3.35 ERA this season. He?ll face righthander Radhames Liz, who is 4-3 with a 7.47 ERA.

New York was hammered 14-3 by the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday, as +170 underdogs. The Orioles scored 10 runs in the first four innings in an 11-6 win over the Boston Red Sox to avoid a three-game sweep on Wednesday. The Orioles won that game as +115 underdogs.

The total has gone under in five of the past six meetings in Baltimore, but over in four of the past five meetings overall. The Yankees are 2-4 SU in the past six meetings in Baltimore, and 4-8 SU in their past 12 overall.
