In a world exclusive The NATIONAL ENQUIRER names GOP VP Candidate Sarah Palin's secret lover!

No less than three members of the man?s family including one by sworn affidavit have claimed that Sarah Palin engaged in an extramarital affair with hus*band Todd?s former business partner, Brad Hanson.

These sources have named Hanson as Palin?s secret love, and say their affair nearly wrecked both their marriages.

Hanson owned a snowmobile dealership with Palin?s husband Todd, who immediately dissolved the partnership after he heard stories about the affair, which occurred around 1996, according to the sources. At the time, Palin was mayor of Wasilla.

Palin has vehemently de*nied cheating on her hus*band, and Hanson insisted to The NATIONAL ENQUIRER that he was never romantically in*volved with the 44-year-old Republican vice presiden*tial candidate.

However, Hanson family insider, Jim Burdett, has gone on the record and passed a rigorous polygraph test, revealing de*tails of the affair to The NATIONAL ENQUIRER in a world exclusive interview.

Burdett is a former brother-in-law of Hanson?s estranged wife Carolyn's brother, Craig Batton, and still speaks with many family members.

?I?ve known about Brad having had an affair for a long time, but it wasn?t until just recently that I learned his affair was with Sarah Palin,? Burdett told The NATIONAL ENQUIRER.

?Sarah was elected mayor of Wasilla, Brad became a city council member in the nearby town of Palmer, and they started an affair.

?Todd found out about the affair and was so mad he broke up their partnership at the snowmobile dealership,? Burdett claimed.

Another source, who preferred to remain anonymous for fear of repercussions, provided The NATIONAL ENQUIRER with a sworn affidavit attesting to the Palin-Hanson story.

?Todd was away on business a lot and Sarah felt lonely. Brad was a good listener, and Sarah talked to him at length. Eventually, she real*ized she was falling in love with him,? one insider divulged.

?When Todd got back from one of his trips, Sarah told him that she had begun to have feelings for Brad.?

When Hillary Clinton told a tall tale about "landing under sniper fire" in Bosnia, she was accused of "inflating her war experience" by rival Democrat Barack Obama's campaign.

But the campaign has been silent about Obama's running mate, Joe Biden, telling his own questionable story about being "shot at" in Iraq.

"Let's start telling the truth," Biden said during a presidential primary debate sponsored by YouTube last year. "Number one, you take all the troops out - you better have helicopters ready to take those 3,000 civilians inside the Green Zone, where I have been seven times and shot at. You better make sure you have protection for them, or let them die."

But when questioned about the episode afterward by the Hill newspaper, Biden backpedaled from his claim of being "shot at" and instead allowed: "I was near where a shot landed."

The senior senator from Delaware went on to say that some sort of projectile "landed" outside a building in the Green Zone where he and another senator had spent the night during a visit in December 2005. The lawmakers were shaving in the morning when they felt the building shake, Biden said.

"No one got up and ran from the room-it wasn't that kind of thing," he told the Hill. "It's not like I had someone holding a gun to my head."

The rest of the press ignored the flap at the time because Biden was viewed as having little chance of ending up on the Democratic presidential ticket. But even after Biden was selected to be Obama's running mate last month, his claim to have been "shot at" drew no scrutiny from the same reporters who had savaged Clinton for making a similar claim that turned out to be false.

FOX News has been asking the Obama campaign for details of the alleged shooting in Iraq ever since Biden was tapped to be vice president. Biden campaign spokesman David Wade promised an answer last week, but failed to provide one.

Meanwhile, the gaffe-prone Biden has again raised eyebrows with another story about his exploits in war zones - this time in Afghanistan. Biden said he will grill Republican rival Sarah Palin in Thursday's vice presidential debate about "the superhighway of terror between Pakistan and Afghanistan where my helicopter was forced down."

"If you want to know where Al Qaeda lives, you want to know where Bin Laden is, come back to Afghanistan with me," Biden bragged to the National Guard Association. "Come back to the area where my helicopter was forced down, with a three-star general and three senators at 10,500 feet in the middle of those mountains. I can tell you where they are."

But it turns out that inclement weather, not terrorists, prompted the chopper to land in an open field during Biden's visit to Afghanistan in February. Fighter jets kept watch overhead while a convoy of security vehicles was dispatched to retrieve Biden and fellow Senators Chuck Hagel and John Kerry.

"We were going to send Biden out to fight the Taliban with snowballs, but we didn't have to," joked Kerry, a Democrat, to the AP. "Other than getting a little cold, it was fine."

Biden never explicitly claimed his chopper had been forced down by terrorists. Nonetheless,

John McCain spokesman Brian Rogers said Obama-Biden officials have been less than forthcoming about Biden's dramatic war stories.

"They never explained Biden's helicopter story from last week - which is very similar to the story about getting 'shot at' in Baghdad," Rogers said.

i was standing in line at the store to pay for some items i picked up (no, not walmart).

they have a rack at the cashier with all those gossip papers and i saw this one with her on the front cover.

my very first thought after reading the headline was, wonder what DTB and GW would think? so i looked it up when i got home and posted it.

also, fwiw, brad and angelina are breaking up :142smilie

and demi moore gained 15 pounds in 4 weeks :sadwave:

---and appears many others do also as they are one of few companies who have been impervious to market swing past year--less than $4 from all
time high. Would expect them to remain that way unless the dems/unions get their foot in door. ;)

Yeh DTB is in denial

He will never be able to admit that Palin was a poor choice for McCain. Just like he cant admit that Bush is a pathetic President of all times.

There is no way McCain can back out of Palin as VP. The debate will go on and they will hope for the best. If he pulls her off the ticket he has no chance. Zero !

Something tells me Palin could at least hold her own in the debate. Guess we will see.
