BREAKING NEWS...
AP-Tuscaloosa
Authorities arrested Alabama head coach Nick Saban in the predawn hours Monday at his home in Tuscaloosa on animal cruelty charges. Saban, 56,
was charged with 85 counts of animal cruelty in an alleged attack which occurred Saturday night in Athens, Georgia. Police said that as many as
92,138 witnesses saw Saban and a large group of violent young men under his control hit, kick, crush and destroy a large pack of mostly-docile bulldogs. One officer was quoted as saying, "I haven't seen bulldogs treated this badly since the Michael Vick case."

Best is ESPN asking if Bama and Oklahoma will play in the National Championship game before conference play has really begun.

Nevermind, that Oklahoma still plays Texas on a neutral field plus @ Oklahoma State and vs. potent offensive teams Kansas and Texas Tech at home. Also, OU will easily win the Big 12 title game...LOL! I guess Missouri should just quit right now LOL!

Nevermind, Alabama travels to Baton Rouge to play LSU where they'll be underdogs. Nevermind Alabama travels to Tennessee. I will say Alabama's road to the title game looks much easier. If they get by LSU, they'll be solid favorites in their other games. However, they still have the SEC Championship which last time I checked, won't be a cake walk.
