M J, I don't know if the Palin's crew is this smart. But it's almost looking like a set up going into her debate. Know one would act this stupid or perplexed. This is like the third thing where she just blows it.

Good point. How crazy is it that a new black leader would see MLK as a hero?

I agree that Palin probably hasn't even read Malcolm X. I'd guess her favorite book would be a 6-way tossup - something like "Welcome Guide to Your New College Experience" (five versions in six years) and "How to Gut a Moose in Three Easy Steps."

Hemingway is a repressed homo who blew his brains out on the way to drinking himself to death. I find Malcom X, a civil rights activist who was gunned down by Muslim extremists, to be far more interesting and compelling. Thanks for the last 8 years. It has been great. Now the rest of us need to go to work on cleaning up this mess. Good luck in China.

Do you have a problem with Martin Luther King Jr.?

One of my favorite fictional books is on the topic of what if the Holocaust never happened...does that make me Nazi, does it mean I hate Jews?

I think Wayne has a problem with many black folk, in general. Especially the "come-uppity" ones that actually made something of themselves and became successful from early hard times.

"I didn't even know they still sold newspapers."

That should be the campaing slogan for the republicans. Along with "I have no idea what a debt is" and "We can win this occupation"

I said the EXACT SAME THING to a friend last night. It's almost hard to believe this isn't a set up. I guess it's the gamble in me, but I have a feeling she does a 180 tonight and blows it out of the water.

I don't give a feck either way. I won't be watching, we all should be voting a third party anyway.

Dawgs if we only had a good independent. The power in this country won't let it happen.

Personally believe and applaud his noble intent--but fact is poverty-crime-illegitamacy etc is more rampant in black community now than back then.

but he did accomplish a lot for freedoms that should have been a given a long time ago and certainly is to be commended for that.

--but certainly could remotely put him in my hero catagory.
