this brings back so many fond memories from my youth....

black folks celebrating in the streets(much like what we`ll see with obama)....

and my fave... (as ali would say)OF ALLLL TIMES!!...

johnny cochrane/"here o.j..... spread your fingers as wide as you can....good?"

o.j./"nope"

cochrane/..... "the glove don't fit."....

ahhhh...those were the days....:142smilie
oj got what he deserved, he was as wrong as this post ! are you a better man than him ? I'm not sure. do you understand what happened ? black folks were not celebrating oj... they were celebrating white mans justice... oj was the one in a million that they won... if you had the life experience of most of the people that danced in the streets, you would understand the dance. I don't expect you to get it ....

I know what you mean, I had a real sense of pride and even celebration the first time I saw Vanilla Ice preform.

you mean like barack and michelle attending those chi-chi ivy league colleges?...yeah,tough life....

yes, i get that race resentments are hideous and long lasting....

you may have inherited willy nilly a great percentage of the sins of your great grandparents as regards race relations..

sorry,my folks weren`t here yet....

o.j. was whiter than i am,societally...he didn`t hang with "the peeps"......he wasn`t some poor, downtrodden minimum wage schmuck who was railroaded by the man...

any fool understood that he was an abusive sociopath...

so listen screwball....regardless of race, you`d have to be an idiot...AND A RACIST with no sense of self to cheer the acquittal of a murderer...

it`s horrific when any jury is stupid enough to nullifiy evidence in any case to settle a personal or societal grievance...

any moron realizes that they are only releasing the criminal back into their neighborhood to wreak havoc on their own families...

so wallow in your white guilt..and forgive me if i pass on your contrition....

if you think that it`s o.k. that our justice system should apply to aggrieved groups as opposed to individuals, then you`re more f-cked in the head than i originally thought you were..

Jax missing some key components of their secondary today, and they don't put much pressure on the QB, hence being ranked like late 20's in sacks. All of that bodes well for Pittsburgh, but Baltimore just smacked them down last week, and the same goes for Baltimore today....welcome another very physical team in the Titans on a short work week. Not good.

no, this is not good at all. i can't bet them even know i think they win and cover.

have to deal with a bar loaded with colts fans to watch today. hopefully i get my usual seat and TV but i have my doubts. my regular guy that worked there the last 3 years is no longer there and the new TV guy is a prick. maybe a $20 tip'll do the trick :SIB

I put it out there and got the response I expected.....I don't think it's right for our justice system to be any thing other than blind and fair but it is not... If you think it is, you are as ****ed in the head as I originally thought you were....

we don't have to go back to before your folks came here... we can go back to yesterday, last week, last month.... your thinking about oj being whiter than you societally, tells me all I need to know about your screwball , racist way of thinking...... What, black people are not supposed to live the way oj did in america ???? you make my point.... you are right , he wasn't some poor schmuck who was railroaded by the man because he could engage in white mans justice.... The key was, he had money.. black folks are used to seeing people with money getting different justice all the time.... most of them are white.... they weren't cherring for oj, they were cheering for american justice...think about it !!! Why did people cheer john gotti ??? http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9C0CE6DE1239F933A25751C0A966958260 the american justice system is not fair... does not distribute punishment equally... look at all the white collar crooks in this country doing no time....look at who is in prison, why they are there and how long they are there for.... are you naive OR stupid ???

Yep 90% of black vote for O in primary and now
Cold Cash Jeffereson wins election--New Orleans

Have to agree Bryantz--racism is still rampant :)

"NEW ORLEANS - U.S. Rep. William Jefferson overcame the stigma of a federal bribery indictment in Louisiana's Democratic primary on Saturday, garnering enough votes in his New Orleans-based congressional district to secure a spot in a Nov. 4 runoff. "

--Jefferson, 61, a Harvard law graduate with a professorial manner and a reputation for shrewd political maneuvering

Liberal interpretation-- he's smart and presidential material ;)

" Last year, he was indicted on corruption charges by a federal grand jury in Virginia. Other family members also have been caught up in an unrelated scandal. Two siblings face federal corruption charges in New Orleans and a third has pleaded guilty."

Family values :mj07:

first off,who cheered john gotti?....what planet are you from?....

it`s never about critical thinking with moonbats like yourself.......it`s always about assuaging guilt...

message to branz:we don`t live in the 1890s to 1940s period of of negro pullman porter servants and aunt jemima.......real people are sick of racism, charges of racism, being called a racist, measuring everything by race, and the race card in general.....

are you saying(i don`t know what you`re saying honestly)that being a member of an "aggrieved group" in society gives folks the right to discount facts and evidence in a crimnal trial?...

regardless of who does it,you`re excusing that?...

you`re saying the american justice system should be set up to take into account some sort of liberal affirmative action and not try each case on it`s individual merits?...

you think blacks don`t get a fair shake so the remedy to that is to let some murderers go free?.......and be stooopid enough to cheer that fact and rationalize it?...as long as those they murdered belonged to the class perceived as the oppressors?........

you`re talking anarchism...the collapse of society...

sorry if i`ve upset you...i didn`t intend to create an imbalance in your karmic field...

I'm talking about today.... the american justice system is not fair to the poor... no one can say that, money doesn't get you a different kind of justice....
