just hate the hell out of these weekday TV College games as a handicapper. Why???

Well because 95% of the games are fairly even conf. match ups picked by the TV producers to get the highest rating, most of the teams haven't played for 10 days so they get extra practice time to prepare for their opponents, the game is on a national stage so both teams players and coaches are jacked up to look their best on TV and Blah,Blah,Blah but the most important reason I hate these games is THE MAN will set the ATS line RIGHT ON THE F**KING NUMBER and being right on the F**KING NUMBER means most of the weekday TV games will be determined ATS by who does or doesn't score at the end of the game.

As a handicapper trying to beat the Las Vegas ATS line I try to find a game where THE MAN for whatever reason has set the line too low on the Favorite or too high on the Dog but primarily I'm looking for a mismatch like a Ball St winning 6-1 ATS or Oak. St winning 8-0 ATS or fading a Was St. losing 0-8 ATS or fading a Fresno St. 1-7, due to their match ups up to this point in the season etc., etc.... You know games that because of the match ups have a damn good chance of covering the Spread on either the FAV or the DOG and finding those MISMACHES pretty much sums up how to be a successful handicapper or a successful bettor.

Now along comes these weekday TV College Football Conference games and makes it extremely hard to handicap the winning side ATS due the above stated reasons but because they are high action, on TV games, the average bearded-unwashed gambler feels some kind of degenerate obligation come hell or high water to have action on em so because for the last 20 plus years I have thrown my lot in with the legion of the beard and unwashed gambler I will do my damned best to try and find an edge be it FAV or DOG and take THE MAN'S ASS down ATS on this weeks TV CF events because my friends THE MAN is going to Pay old Buddy and the breaded and unwashed this week and if I can help it ...he is going to pay out of his ass this week.

Ok having said all of that Bulls**t above and having started the week off with Pitts+2.5 POD=W Monday night lets go to the next game.

TUESDAY NOV 4TH
MIAMI O.-U. BUFFALO-8

Well Buff is obviously by the most casual observers perusal the most talented team offensively on the field tonight with a suspect passing and rushing Defense so the question is can Buff. cover a -9 ATS line? Ummm?

I think Miami O is having trouble at the QB position and I don't believe the extra practice time Miami O has had will help them here.

I'm going to lay -8 here and look for QB Drew Willy and RB Starks for Buff to light up Miami O Defense tonight and Miami O running a low scoring vanilla run offense tonight with Buff. winning by 10 plus points tonight.

Taking the points on Tuesday nights has been money this year but tonight Im going to be on

BUFF-8

WEDNESDAY NOV 4TH COLLEGE FOOTBALL

WEDNESDAY NOV 4TH COLLEGE FOOTBALL

WEDNESDAY NIGHT NOV 5TH

TOL-AKRON-6

Hard one to figure here. Toledo got a raw deal drawing up to this point in the season C.Mig,N.Ill,Mig,Ball St, three of the top teams in the MAC with Mig thrown in which Toledo beat 13-10 while Akron has played E.Mig,B Green,K St,Ball St so with the level of competition the two teams have faced in the MAC so I'm not surprised at Toledo's 1-3 record in the Mac and Akron's 2-2 record in the MAC this year at all. Looks like this could be a Dog play ATS tonight???

THE MAN has set a O/U of 54 and Akron-6 on this event tonight. Ummm... lets see that would be 8 Touchdowns or 4 TD per half or 2 TD per team per half.Ummmm.... Looks to me Akron is going to have trouble wining this game with their poor Defense much less covering the -6 spread. Ummmm... I tell you what I'm going to do tonight. I'm looking for a typical MAC shootout here against two poor defenses tonight. My Action will be

OVER 54

N.Ill-Ball St.-9

The only two teams in the MAC that really have a defense and two of my favorite Teams in the MAC to beat on so far this year. Ball St. by far has the best Offense and at home looks like a winner but the question is can the cover a -9 ATS line against a pretty good Defensive? Ummm This game looks like the ATS line could come into play tonight but with the poor passing play of N.Ill
QBs this year you just have to go with Ball St Offense and lay the -9 here.

Ball St-9

Well we got passed the first 4 TV Football games this week and fortuitously they all turned out to be easy winners so this is usually the time of the week I have to fulfill my obligation to the all the gentlemen of fortune and have my little money management chat with my bearded and unwashed gaming brethren.

I have learned over the past 20 plus years that if you are going be in this little hobby of dancing with THE MAN every week and be successful at it then you are going to have to set a realistic weekly win loss figure and forget about the over all season figure because if you take care of business properly on a weekly bases the end of the season total will work its self out and hell beside there will be plenty of time enough for counting the total up when the season is over. Errr I mean when the seasons done.

Now that win-loss figure can be a percentage of your starting bankroll such as a professional player might say ?I?m not going to risk losing more than 5% or 6% of my running total bankroll on any given week? or any other kind of like blah, blah, similar money management risk-loss percentages but I?m not writing this little piece to you professional or accountant etc., type guys because frankly you guys really don?t need any advice on money management and I wish all of you only the very best in your future gaming investments.

Oh yea, I'm not a writer? I am a professional gambler and professional handicapper so you will have to bear with me and just get over it on my poor writing skills as writing isn?t my forte but I will do my best to express my opinion and besides the group of guys I am writing to really don?t give a happy rats ass of what or how I write a post and are only concerned at what play I like and whether or not they like it enough to to dance with THE MAN on that play themselves.

No as I stated in the first post of this Thread I threw in my lot many years ago with the bearded, unwashed, beer swilling, tequila drinking, hell raising, go for broke, adrenaline junky, gentlemen of fortune of this of world so for bad or good my allegiance and fortune is tied directly to that group and to that group of guys I direct this post.

Now in the first place if any you brethren had set a win-loss goal for this week then you and I know 1 minute after you won the first game of the week and had your first victory shot that win loss figure became a distant memory and your next thought was f**k a win loss figure Buddy??Its time to jump in with both feet and crush the living hell out of THE MAN as that fat beady eyed SOB has just turned into your own private frigging ATM machine.

Well boys we have won 4 in a row this week so some you guys are feeling pretty sporty and bullet proof about right now so that is why Old buddy is making this futile ass post but it is one I am required to make by rule Number 13 in chapter 69 of THE BOOK of the Breaded and Unwashed Gentlemen of Fortune and Undead.

I?m going to make up a figure and a scenario here just for the sake of having a figure and creating a scenario so lets just say you are a Nickel player and you want to win 2 dimes a week to buy beer and tequila and ladies of dubious morals. Yea I know ..maybe 2 dimes t isn?t enough to even cover the bar bill but you guys know what I?m getting at here.

You have just won the first 4 games of this week right out of the gate and God forbid for some unknown reason you had turned into a candy ass, pantie waist flat bettor and placed a win 500 bet on each of the last 4 events so you are now sitting at up +2 dimes (your goal at the start of the week) on THE MAN for the week ?.but hell Buddy there is plenty of action left and plenty of winners left to go in this week right?.

The smart thing to do now after you have gotten over the fact of flat betting a nickel a game and being up only a lousy 2 dimes and told every person in the bar that would listen to you that you should be up around 10 dimes for the week except you flat bet your action ( stopping in the middle of the week isn?t an option for the brethren by the way)) would be to reduce your action to 100 a game and limit your total plays for the rest of the week to no more than 10 plays starting right now and then by at the end of the week in your worst case scenario of losing all of your last 10 game action from here on out to at least pick up close to a dime or best case pick up 3 dimes from THE MAN and not give THE Man a chance to win back the 2 dimes you are presently up regardless of the results for the rest of this weeks action??. I would highly recommend to you guys in a similar situation as the aforementioned scenario irrespective if your figure is 50 dimes, +20 dimes, 10 dimes, 5 dimes, +2 dimes,1 dime, etc., etc., to use that plan or some similar type of reduction of risk of future action for your course of action during the rest of this week plays to insure a positive figure at the end of the week.

Ok there I have fulfilled my obligation to the brethren and relieved myself of that burden so enough of all that Blah, Blah, Blah, money management horses**t as it is Thursday and we have 2 TV College football games and 1 NFL game for tonight and it is time to throw down a shot or two or three and cipher through these 3 football events as the music will be starting up shortly so we need find a play or two we can put a W beside our action when to nights Dance with THE MAN is over.

As I stated when I started this thread?. THE MAN is looking more and more like an frigging ATM machine and Old Buddy has every intention of making a large withdrawal and taking that fat SOB down this week.

MONDAY NOV 3RD

THURSDAY NOV 6TH COLLEGE-NFL TV GAMES

THURSDAY NOV 6TH COLLEGE-NFL TV GAMES

MARYLAND-VA TECH-3
Damn this game looks at first glance looks like a pretty boring running Defensive game between two BCS teams banged up with injuries with Maryland's top RB questionable and on top of that Va Tech has a 3rd string first time starting QB going tonight.??? No wonder THE MAN has hung a low 41.5 O/U on this crappy ass looking defensive struggle.

Most likely we are looking at Va Tech running the ball 40-50 plus times at minimum tonight with Maryland having the only QB on the field to have much success at passing to be able to that option tonight. Ummm

Va Tech and Maryland have both had close to two weeks to heal up but Maryland looks to have the worst of the injury situation. Va Tech has had extra time to get get their 3rd string QB ready for tonights action and of course Va. Tech plays anyone tuff at home. ummm

Im going to take

MARYLAND+3 BUY IT TO +3.5 IF YOU CAN

TCU-UTAH-1
Not much to say except two stud creme of the crop in their conference and both have good offenses and good defenses. This game could go either way SO THIS ONE IS TOO CLOSE TO CALL?

PASS

NFL DENVER-CLEV-3

CLEV-3 BUY IT TO -2.5 IF YOU CAN

FRIDAY NOV 7TH COLLEGE FOOTBALL

FRIDAY NOV 7TH COLLEGE FOOTBALL

If you like a lot of scoring then this is your game tonight. Pretty much the same match up as last years Fresno St- Nevada game at Nevada where Fresno beat the wolf pack 49-41 . Fresno St was up 49-20 in the 4th so last years score doesn't really reflect Fresno St's dominance of Nevada in that away game.

The only reason I can tell you guys why the line opened Nevada-2.5 is because Fresno St has such a poor 1-7 ATS record this year?

I'm going to be on Fresno St +2 at Home in this shoot out as neither team has much of a defense and say Fresno St QB Bannister wins for the 3rd time against Nevada and the 2nd time facing Nevada's QB Kaepernick.

Fresno St +2

Let me add my experience with Buddy...he posted regularly at another site and was positive money in most weeks. I cap my own games and when I was on the same side as him...I hammered a game and usually won.

I am happy and hopeful he remains on this site.

he is a good one.
