just hate the hell out of these weekday TV College games as a handicapper. Why???
Well because 95% of the games are fairly even conf. match ups picked by the TV producers to get the highest rating, most of the teams haven't played for 10 days so they get extra practice time to prepare for their opponents, the game is on a national stage so both teams players and coaches are jacked up to look their best on TV and Blah,Blah,Blah but the most important reason I hate these games is THE MAN will set the ATS line RIGHT ON THE F**KING NUMBER and being right on the F**KING NUMBER means most of the weekday TV games will be determined ATS by who does or doesn't score at the end of the game.
As a handicapper trying to beat the Las Vegas ATS line I try to find a game where THE MAN for whatever reason has set the line too low on the Favorite or too high on the Dog but primarily I'm looking for a mismatch like a Ball St winning 6-1 ATS or Oak. St winning 8-0 ATS or fading a Was St. losing 0-8 ATS or fading a Fresno St. 1-7, due to their match ups up to this point in the season etc., etc.... You know games that because of the match ups have a damn good chance of covering the Spread on either the FAV or the DOG and finding those MISMACHES pretty much sums up how to be a successful handicapper or a successful bettor.
Now along comes these weekday TV College Football Conference games and makes it extremely hard to handicap the winning side ATS due the above stated reasons but because they are high action, on TV games, the average bearded-unwashed gambler feels some kind of degenerate obligation come hell or high water to have action on em so because for the last 20 plus years I have thrown my lot in with the legion of the beard and unwashed gambler I will do my damned best to try and find an edge be it FAV or DOG and take THE MAN'S ASS down ATS on this weeks TV CF events because my friends THE MAN is going to Pay old Buddy and the breaded and unwashed this week and if I can help it ...he is going to pay out of his ass this week.
Ok having said all of that Bulls**t above and having started the week off with Pitts+2.5 POD=W Monday night lets go to the next game.
TUESDAY NOV 4TH
MIAMI O.-U. BUFFALO-8
Well Buff is obviously by the most casual observers perusal the most talented team offensively on the field tonight with a suspect passing and rushing Defense so the question is can Buff. cover a -9 ATS line? Ummm?
I think Miami O is having trouble at the QB position and I don't believe the extra practice time Miami O has had will help them here.
I'm going to lay -8 here and look for QB Drew Willy and RB Starks for Buff to light up Miami O Defense tonight and Miami O running a low scoring vanilla run offense tonight with Buff. winning by 10 plus points tonight.
Taking the points on Tuesday nights has been money this year but tonight Im going to be on
