cable tv shows are so much better than network tv... oz, sopranos, deadwood, rome, dexter... even trueblood is ok

its amazing how the tv actor/actress circuit is so incestual, for lack of a better term... on the latest entourage, the guy sitting next to meadow soprano (whatever her naem is jamie lynn sigler or somethin) was officer dave brass from oz
Just finished the first season disc set from Netflix...can't wait to get season 2.
set DVR to record series from now on.....
DEADWOOD was another great series I started watching after a few seasons complete....Netflix again...
I recently watched the whole 1st and 2nd seasons. The show is awesome. Best show I've ever seen. Season 1 is better than Seaon 2, but Season 2 was pretty damn good.
Wife and I caught Season 1 on CBS last season and just finished watching Season 2 via Netflix. I thought Season 2 was better, maybe cause I got the uncensored version. Dexter's sister is pretty annoying and not hot in the least. Other than that love everything about the show. The intro is cool.

I have never watched season 1. I am thinking about going back and watching all of them. I loved season 2 though!
Season 3 is HORRIBLE.
The author of Dexter wrote two books - and we have seen them in season 1 and season 2. But I do not know who is writing this garbage. Showtime must have a team of writers that come up with a soap opra outlook. It has defiently lost it edge and at times quite boring.

Samantha and I are almost done with Season 1. We watched 9 of the 12 episodes on Sunday. We just couldn't stop watching it!!! I'm dying to see the final three episodes but haven't had the time to sit down and do it yet. Maybe tonight is the night!!! :00hour

I have to agree that season 3 has been a disappointment thus far. Granted, for storyline purposes, this stuff HAS to be done, but its killing me watching this and after having the fast paced, many moving parts of seasons 1 and 2. Perhaps we were spoiled with s1 and s2.

So the guy who plays Moses Deyell on OZ is the black cop that is suspicious of dexter... thats at least 3 oz characers on Dexter...
is Ryan O'Reilly one of hte cops that saves him? Dean Winters? It sure has hell LOOKS like him and TALKS like him. but i don't think its him, according to imdb and wiki
edit on 11-16-08 : the cop is ryan's brother, cyril, who is actually dean winters brother in real life as well. How fuckign stupid am i for thinking it was ryan o'reilly and not recognizing it as cyril? i guess missing the hair it was disguised or somehting.

this show is so fucking awesome... best evcer and its not close, i've seen everything on hbo and anything worth watching on network tv
I agree. It's the best show I've ever seen. Loved Six Feet Under and Arrested Development, but Dexter is simply the best.
yeah i've watched sopranos 2x all the way through, all of oz, rome, gen kill, etc etc... dexter is just too cool
crash on starz fucking blows, i keep trying to watch it but it just doesn't do anything for me. perhaps because i grew up in socal, its boring
