:mj06: Taking my win from Okie State and letting it ride.

Tech +7(buying half point) for 2 dimes

I really thought this line would be 3.5 to 4. I don't think Oklahoma is 6.5 points better than Tech. It will be a shootout and I think the last team with the ball wins this game.

I might put some down on the ML but I'll wait to see how it moves. Tech has a very good shot at winning this game. Their defense is playing very well and the offense is playing at a very high level as well.

And the most important part of it is that I will be at the game having a great time.

Before you bet...
I think I read that Tech has already lost this game (Not sure by how much) and there is a 3 way tie in the South to be decided on whether OU jumps UT in the BCS.

Both offenses are really clicking and should be a pretty entertaining game.

Awesome that you are going to this game. Tech is 1-0su and 1-0ats when Layinwood goes to Tech games where College Gameday is being broadcast.

Have a blast.

OU wins by DD.

I have seen some math....far from impossible but unlikely OU jumps Texas even if it wins out. Texas will stay ahead in computers and more than half of Harris and Coaches would have to vote OU over UT. Maybe if OU really blows out Tech but the head to head is gonna be a big factor.

The Red Raider dreams end in Norman where it usually does!!

When have the Raiders dreams ended in Norman? Yeah they've lost there but I don't think any dreams ended because of it. Now if you're talking about Tech ending the Sooners dreams last year or two years ago then we can start talking but until then we've lost there and that's about it.

I'm not foolish enough to think we have a really high % chance of winning, I don't think there is one team in the country that would this year. But, I do like Tech to cover. 7 is a good number for me, they can be gettting beat by double digits and cover that at the end. I do think the game will be close though and I still think it will come down to the 4th qtr. Of course that's just my opinion. Good luck Soonerpimp, your team is very good this year and I wish you no ill will.

Got OU -6, think OU by at least 17. TT better be ready for a D that's fast, the same thing that killed Mizzery last year.

What about the head to head factor with Tech? Everything I have read is saying if OU beats Tech and wins in Stillwater they will for sure be ahead! It's like the saying goes if you are going to lose, lose early! I think margin of victory will be heavily involved in the polls and with Texas barely getting by Okie St I think it is going to put them in the Cotton Bowl! Go to www.cbssportsline.com and got to the bowl projections.. Same thing!

This is going to be a rough two games for Oklahoma, if they get by Tech the game in Stillwater will be pretty rough. I can see them losing one of the two, if not I think they will move ahead of Texas. Fair or not, it may depend on how they win not if they win.

There is ZERO chance that CBS is right. Say OU wins out and even say OU jumps Texas. Texas will be ahead of Tech in both the computers- by alot - and the human polls...you dont hink Tech will drop by losing to OU? Tech would have to be ahead of Texas to go to a BCS bowl as Texas regardless will be in the Top 4 which is an automatic berth. Only two teams from a conference can go to a BCS bowl. The Fiesta wont have a "choice." - If a team is in Top 4 they are automatic...if 3 from one league in top 4 the top 2 go - there isnt a choice.
The loser Saturday wont go to a BCS bowl. Texas is just about a lock for one.

Margin of victory? You mean like Texas beating OU by 10 on a neutral field? Tech has an argument over Texas. OU would have an argument over Tech. OU has no argument over Texas.

Hope you are right. Know you don't care for Jeff Saggarin, but his poll in USA today will make any 'horn smile:00hour

Sun-

I agree with you! As we both know TX did win by 10 on a neutral field. It was a 12 round heavy weight slugfest!

Being from TX (Dallas) and going to OU, I have a lot of great friends who went to UT and are big Horn's fans! I just love this weekend due to the fact every Texas fan I know, including yourself will for once in your life be cheering for OU! I had a few people ask me to send them OU gear for Saturday and then they said they would burn it after the game!

You will go from being a big OU fan this weekend to being a even bigger OK-St fan the following! I am more worried about going to Stillwater than I am for this weekend!

Good luck!

Hey LW even you would admit that Oklahoma is the one team that knows Leach's offense to down to T! the Sooners have never had an issue defending Tech's offense, and had not lost to Leach until "ref gate" in Lubbock. That said this has to be the best Tech team since Leach has been there but the only way they cover the number will have to be a back door!
Sooners take care of business Saturday!!

Adding 1 more dime at +7

Total on Tech at +7 is 3 dimes.

:toast:

Does this line not scare you? 75% of the public in on Tech and the line is not moving! I have even seen it open at 6 at some places and it is up to 7. :nono:

Vegas is begging for Tech money and you are falling in the trap......

Yes, Tech's offense is very potent and probably the best in the country! The issue is they have never seen a crowd like this yet this year! They run a no-huddle offense. I think they will be rattled and have issues calling plays! This is not Lawrence!! It is a no play for me! I will sit back an enjoy this 12 round fight!
