the crowd ? if t tech loses it will be because they cannot stop OU, and their offense is controlled for the first time all year. this is a possibility, but the crowd is a non factor. TT crowd didn't hurt UT - their abandoning of the run game did. i do believe oky is better on off right now than they were against UT, but their D is not as good as it was when they played UT. i know oky is very balanced on offense, but giving TT 7 appears to be a bit much. would like to see dr. F opinion on this game.

the TT offense is predicated on harrel having time to throw. how good is the oky line, and how good is the secondary ?

i believe UT db's are not that great.....

gl, either way.

Sun-

I agree with you! As we both know TX did win by 10 on a neutral field. It was a 12 round heavy weight slugfest!

Being from TX (Dallas) and going to OU, I have a lot of great friends who went to UT and are big Horn's fans! I just love this weekend due to the fact every Texas fan I know, including yourself will for once in your life be cheering for OU! I had a few people ask me to send them OU gear for Saturday and then they said they would burn it after the game!

You will go from being a big OU fan this weekend to being a even bigger OK-St fan the following! I am more worried about going to Stillwater than I am for this weekend!

Good luck!

I think you need to rethink your statement.
Any Texas fan will be cheering for OU the next 2 weeks.
If OU beats TT then loses to OKST then TT goes to the Big 12 title game in a two way tie(unless BU beats TT :mj07: ).

Now I don't know who would go to the title game(maybe USC) vs. SEC champ, but I doubt it would be a team(Texas) that didn't make their own conference title game.

Texas needs a 3-way tie and have the highest BCS ranking to make Big 12 title game.

I am just repeating Stoops 's press conference and how he thought the crowd will be playing a big factor in team's success when they run a no huddle. As you stated about Texas not having a problem. Texas does not run a no huddle!

So Cal
Tech can hang within 7 of OU.

Big games = Stoops choking and messing it up some way.

IMO TT plays for the BCS this season's end.

I don't think the crowd will be a big issue as far as running the offense goes. Crowds play more into momentum than anything. Once a team gets going and the crowd gets behind them it turns into a big deal. Also, Tech doesn't HAVE to run a no huddle.

I just can't see Okie getting any pressure on Harrell. I may be wrong but I can't see it. It's going to be a track meet, I'll say first one to 49 wins.

Good luck to all of you(including Sooner fans), I'm heading out tomorrow morning and can't wait. We got primo seats so it should be fun.

hahahhaha I'm here to let you kick me guys, I don't mind. I had a blast in Norman. It was my first time there and I will say it's a pretty cool place. My friends and I had a great time before, during and after the game. Every single sooner fan was very cool, I had more shots bought for me than I can remember.

Sounds like a priceless experience... it's just money...

Learn from it and move on...

Nicely played.

Woodson, the money means nothing. It's the loss as a Tech fan that hurts the most.

Glad you had as good of a time as possible. Also good to hear that the okies were ok.

We got our asses whooped up and down the block. That team is damn good and those damn fans never let up.

When they played jump around the speakers on the television started rattling. That had to be pretty cool in person.

Will be rooting for Okie state but not expecting a miracle.

We need to lick our wounds and take care of Baylor - All we can do is take care of ourselves.

I know the prestigious school fans won't understand but a 12 win season would be huge for our program. I know the naysayers will point out the 2 former D2 teams but you and I know that getting through a season without losing a game that we were favored in is a big step for us.

Take care L-wood
