What's up with the price of kibble?
I paid 50 bucks for a 35 pound bag of Science Diet, seemed high to me, at least it lasts for a few months

You're going on 7 years here and nobody even knows your first name. Go fuck yourself, whackjob.

Hills tries to position Science Diet as some sort of 'premium' brand, but it has the same exact ingredients in it as the rest of them.
Don't waste your money, hedgehog.

Based on his posts in this thread, I would venture to say that he is directly responsible. :SIBMatt, what's up with all that bad pet food coming from China? Do you have anything to do with that?
sounds like he had some turkey for thanksgiving :nono:My poor puppy has had the hershey squirts too come to think of it. Suggestions from the Alpo gallery?![]()
Matt, what's up with all that bad pet food coming from China? Do you have anything to do with that?
It wasn't bad pet food coming from China. It was wheat gluten, used in pet food, laced with the chemical melamine. Melamine artificially distorts the protein level of the wheat gluten and attacked the pets renal systems.
Only one company really got burned on this and that's Menu Foods, who co-packs for grocery stores, WalMart, etc. We still do a pretty good amount of business with them, but they almost went out of business a year and a half ago because of this. I think they will make it, but there are still rumors.
Our biggest accounts, like Friskies, Ralston, Delmonte and Kal Kan all scrambled around when this came up last year, but none of their food was found to be tainted.
So you admit at least *partial* responsibility for that fiasco?:SIB
