I was thinking the same thing, I saw the clip on espnews and the guy says some may find the following offensive, and I was expecting some rant with a bunch of stuff bleeped out, and it was none of that.

Hell the wife was watching a tivo'd 90210 and one of the girls on there said "enjoy my sloppy seconds", does that mean the CW should be fined by the FCC?

One of the very few guys in the NHL that is a true dips*it. He belongs in the NFL or NBA. He is a disgrace to all NHLers:nono:

I don't care how much of an asshole a guy is. This is no reason to suspend him.

I have never even heard of the guy, sounds like he likes what all men like:toast: possy

absolutely stupid to suspend him for that comment, the NHL has no clue, I may watch a hockey game if he is playing now:scared

A guy I work with is friends with Stephen Valiquette, NY Rangers Goalie.
Last summer they were on a fishing trip and Valiquette was talking about how much the guys on the rangers hated Avery.

Apparently, Avery would act like such a Douche bag whenever the players were out at dinner. Calling the Waitresses bitches, sending back food, telling people in the restaurant to fuck off and shit like that.
He said one time a few players went out shopping for clothes and Avery was saying "do you know who I am? don't talk to me unless I tell you to".

Valiquette said, it got so bad that, the players would have to sneak around behind Avery's back and make plans so he would not show up to team functions.

He also said Jarom?r J?gr was a real fuckin' prick too!


One day Avery will get whats coming to him. Someone will Cross-Check his fuckin' teeth out

That's why this sounds so "harsh" to most of the non-NHL guys in here. Christ........even the guys own team hates him! NONE of them have his fucking back!! :mj07:

THAT should tell you quite a bit, right there.

He should never have been suspended for what he said.....but there are about 100 other things he's done where he deserved a suspension.

This guy is a complete assh*le......he's a good hockey player, but a true dickhead. How he constantly gets hot chicks is obvious ($$$$$). But even hot chicks can only stand him for so long. 99% of NHLers are great guys, sadly Avery is in the 1%.

And if your own HOCKEY teamates hate you, that tells you everything ya need to know.

Sad really, Avery is actually a damn good player, too bad he is scum. But hey if it gets one American to watch one NHL game, well guess it is worth it:shrug:

Oh and if this were the late 80's (before instigator penalty) Avery would have been dealt with a long long time ago. The stuff he does ON the ice would never ever happen back in the day.

By the way.....Elisha has been with her fair share of NHLers.......wonder what those guys think of Avery:scared
