??Movies..Digital..the dark knight..?????

maybe a dumb question but what better place to ask and not get picked on.:mj07:

bought a copy of the dark knight [full screen] and inside it has a web site to download the digital version onto a dvd w/authorization code for a buck 99

???..are their any special components needed for either my LCD tv or my computer to play it on..

I am assuming the digital version is crisper and more vibrant by just downloading and viewing via the LCD.
