DXO = 2.30 :eek:

I'm very confident that oil will be over $60-70. Who knows what the bottom will be, but I think oil and gas are getting to ridiculous prices at this point.

Why are F and GM dropping so much? Thought the bailout would bring them back to life. LEA is also about to be $1.00. I have no skin in this game as of now, just wondered what is up.

someone else said it earlier - trading stocks are all about buying before the news and then selling on the news. bailout or not, those stocks are not good long term. Kudos to those guys here that made money on them and got out.

Powered by Minyanville: Crude Near a Bottom?

Is crude oil near a bottom? According to fund manager Daniel Bruno Sanz it is. Bloomberg reports not only is he calling for a bottom, but using Demark Sequential Indicators applied to the weekly chart, he believes crude will rocket to $93 a barrel within the next few months. The timing coincides with the peak driving season in the US, which is May and June. It marks a 50% drop from its ?almost vertical fall, which is completely overdone.? Sanz said.. Jeff Saut mentioned his thoughts on crude oil in Short-Term Uptrend For S&P 500.

But what we do know is that it WILL go back up eventually... I will be buying UGA sometime next week.

I would think that would be a very solid long term play Justin. short term results would be of little consequence in decision.

As I said in other thread--I bought what I figure 10 years worth of personal gas useage at around $19 (gas then about $1.66 a gal) and can't see it staying there for 10 years--if it does--worse result is cheap gas for a decade--extremely doubtful but what a boost to world wide economies if it happened.

Have been looking at every angle on this one as it looks too easy and can't find any real risk.

There is one possible fly in ointment I have been pondering and if anyone knows answer would appreciate input.

I have little doubt that if gas remains low for any period of time incoming admin will be chomping to increase gas tax at opportune time--my question will a tax be included in price of gas per gas fund--or just an add on to consumer?

My initial thinking is it would be included in price of gas as all articles I have read compares fund to gas price including tax--but I'm not sure.

I am looking for ways to get more money in my trading account. I would like to purchase more in 2 parts at 1.50 and 1.25 if it gets there.

I'm holding everything I have until 4.00. I have a sell order on a little more than 20% of my shares at that price.
