I'll try to keep this short.
Arrived at airport at 5AM for a 6am flight. Come to find out the ticket guy and the pilot were having a pissing match! There were only 50 people on the plane and the pilot wanted 20 off. Still don't know who won because we took off with 50 but an hour late.
Missed connection in Cincinnati!! We spent 8 hours at the airport for the next flight! Mind you this is Xmas day with twin 2 year old grandkids!! Finally got to Augusta at 8:30pm. Missed dinner with son at Fort Gordon but we were there what else could go wrong.............................
Wife went to emergency room Sunday nite, granddaughter on Mon. afternoon and son went about midnite!! I don't even remember Tues because I felt so bad I couldn't get out of bed!
Everyone that went to the hospital had IV's and morphine. They said it was a viral infection but were waiting for final results.
Finally everyone was feeling better last nite and at 9pm decided to take the little ones to get ice cream. Guess what my daughter discovered she left her purse in the shopping cart at Babies-R-Us and they closed at 7pm!!
It had all her money, credit cards and ID to get on the plane in the AM!!
I have never been so happy to be home and see the snow!!
