I read on here earlier that so far this year everytime Pitt won the toss they kicked and everytime Ar. won the toss they received. I have no other idea and this could just be bad info

The only thing that worries me about this play is that Ive been hearing about it everywhere.. message boards, the radio, tv shows..

When does Vegas ever lose?

I'm kind of starting to feel this way too. At first I loved this play, but now it seems like everyone is jumping on it, which may make me not play it. You're right, Vegas isn't stupid and they rarely take a bath on a bet.

Hey Jack I was thinking that also and read on one wedsite that you can't defer in the Super Bowl. Not sure I believe that or not, but I did see every team in Super Bowl history that won the toss has elected to receive. I will try to look those sites up and post them for you to see.

Never mind, I am glad I reloooked it up. It says that for the first time this year, a team can defer. That is why in the past the coin toss winner has elected to recieve.

I thought they had changed the rule a few years back that you couldn't defer any more in the nfl. It seems like every team that wins the toss chooses to receive, so its almost like you want to lose the toss to get the ball first in the 2nd half.

I don't pay a lot of attention to it, so I'm probably wrong...

You actually want to win the toss, and defer. That means you get to pick in the second half
