funny you should post this...i was flipping channels and came to the wwe on usa network....and who`s on there?...rowdy roddy piper....
i never watched this stuff...but the old lady and my brother enjoyed it....they loved piper most of all...
so,we stopped for a second as old roddy(WITH THE KILT..LOL) was giving a stemwinder of a speech in the ring to some young guy about respecting the past...how he lived to be in the ring.....about his artificial hip and all the pain he has to live with from his days in wrestling....all the respect and love he had for all the wrestlers..how he was embiggened to lay the groundwork for young up and comers like the guy he was addressing...a tear came to his eye...
it was an excellent speech,i have to say...
so at the end he puts his hand out to the young guy in friendship and to sort of pass the torch.....
and the young guy pauses,smiles and kicks roddy in the groin and proceeds to beat the living shit out of him.... :142smilie
i don`t know why i didn`t expect this....it`s been over a decade since i`ve seen any of this buffoonery...
but we laughed so hard we cried...it was so f-cking funny.....took me completely by surprise....

Anyone who was fortunate enough to go to a Blackhawks game at the Chicago Stadium (pre United Center) were part of the most exciting national anthems I've ever been a part of.
Not sure if there's any you tube videos of it, but all I can say is that you had to have been there to appreciate it.

Was at both above posted games. Season ticket holders for the family for the last 37 years never sold them just kept getting handed down and down so I still go all the time and will be at the one in Dallas too. And I will scream through the entire anthem with the rest of the Hawk fans just like I did at every other arena I have been too and St. Louis is the only other one that really does it. The Stars fan scream our STARS when ever it is mentioned in the lyrics which is disrespectful and bleeds of lack of identity for a team.
