Sorry to be a dick....

Sorry to be a dick....

I noticed in someones thread.....they asked about this or other FARVE IS THE GREATEST, NO WAY RODGERS CAN DO WHAT FARVE WAS GOING TO DO THIS SEASON IN A GREENBAY UNIFORM threads..

Anyone second guessing there harsh evaluations of MR. RODGERS? I still feel Farve is a baby and OVER RATED....didnt he just say something close to...."If I was given a chance to throw the balll on that last play we would have won that game" when Thomas Jones got stuffed versus the Pats lastweek? I'm sorrty again but I just had to get this thread to or close to the top for re evaluation

there are a few GM's who actually can evaluate talent..

the jury is certainly still out ..but the future for Rodgers looks real good considering the talent shown, his understanding of the system and his relative young age given that he hasn't taken any poudings durning the clipboard years.

Brett will gut it out w/the Jets..but there is not a snowballs chance in hell the Jets will see the Super Bowl with him at QB..way to many other holes to fill for that to happen..:nono:

ask Joe Montana.....close but no cigar

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
:bump:

I cant remember an organization screwing things up to this extent.....

If they think Rogers is their answer at QB they are really stupid.....

Thats whats so funny about all of this........whether Favre comes back or not Rodgers will probably not be with the team in the future anyhow because the guy cant play.......

And yes Rogers will be awful. He cant even be as good as Brett's worst year.

Rodgers has upside and is underrated IMO.

You arent so delusional to think there is a future with Aaron Rogers are you? Even Thompson doesnt think that

Why is everyone so quick to dismiss Rodgers

i, like others who have posted, cannot understand why everyone is so quick to say that rodgers is terrible and has no chance

i think that its obvious that the packers have faith in rodgers right now, otherwise they would welcome bret back with open arms. the fact that they drafted qbs says that they are looking for depth in that position, not looking for a starter. they have always drafted qbs in gb, even when favre started. does that mean that they had no faith in him? do some research on the qbs that played behind favre in gb (brunell, hasselback, etc.). it seems to me that packer players are fully behind rodgers, which should give him confidence. he seems to be handling this well, and i'm excited to see how he does.

he has had the perfect amount of time in the league (IMO) as a backup and should be comfortable with the offense, reads, etc. i'm not saying he's the answer, but i think that he has a great chance to excel.

BTW, why is everybody saying that thompson sucks as GM in gb? he built an unbelievable team around favre last year, loading him with plenty of weapons and a line to protect him. he has done a great job with his time there imo.

I think Brett gives GB a better chance to win, but Rodgers isnt a slug. He deserves a chance to see if he can be the future of this franchise. Should GB sign him to a long term deal? Cut their losses? Find another QB? How can GB know if they wont give the guy a chance?

Brett should quit yanking GB around every year with this retirement hide and seek and move on.

GB needs to trade him to an AFC team and get as much compensation for him as possible.

Thanks Ted ?We?re moving on? Thompson. Ya just sent possibly the best player in the history of the franchise packing. I hope Favre signs with the Bucs and provides you with more sleepless nights, particularly on the 28th of September.

Good luck finding some has been, or more likely ?never was? QB to backup your boy Rodgers, cause you?re probably gonna need him the first time he?s blindsided by a blitzing linebacker. Right about then, it might just hit you that having a guy that always got back up was a luxury you took for granted. But his fans never did.

why is everyone blaming the packers??
its favres fault for retiring and then saying he wanted to come back?
is there something im missing?
he put this organization in a bind and everyone is jumping all over the packers organization
