So not only does Ax kick @$$ online, but in real life too! kurby

I totally understand what people are trying to say about taking TOR tomorrow, but my homerness just won't allow it. There were some recent similar "trap" lines when MIA and DET came to town, but they lost to both of them, didn't they? And we cannot be compared to Chicago. They are KILLER at home, we get killed...

Locked in

Memphis at New Orleans U188 for 1/2U. Will likely buy the rest when I finish capping this. This number is way off with the high side of a 3 possession cushion.

[812] TOTAL u188-110
(MEMPHIS vrs NEW ORLEANS)
Morning Ax, love this pick considering Mem is averaging 49 & NO 43 1st h respectively over the past 5 games. With NO D I don't see Mem hitting 49. Not sure what's happened to NO offense compared to last year, but it's certainly been a no show most of this season.

GL, Granpa

PNP -

You're making a valid counterargument, but Miami and Detroit are teams that have winning records (or are close to it in the case of the Pistons); Charlotte is still 30 and 38 - much like the Knicks' less-than-inspiring 28-39 - and although the Bobcats' roster is much improved, this is a team that still lost to the Timberwolves in Minnesota prior to their recent 2 game winning streak (victimizing Toronto and Sacramento).

I'm NO fan of the Raptors whatsoever and have been encouraging that the entire roster be blown up - if they're lucky to secure Blake Griffin in the lottery, then trading Bosh and Calderon for a wing who can create his own shot and an elite point who isn't addicted to help defense would be my suggestion.

Some leans in college basketball for today -

Louisville
Pittsburgh
Kansas

Arizona's been bashed among so-called pundits for being undeserving to be in the Big Dance, wouldn't be surprised if they win against Utah after all the derision heaped on 'em.

Hey G31 -

Definitely - even if it's to shut up everyone about how other teams were left on the outside looking in b/c the Wildcats were unfairly selected... They could lose in the 2nd round, but moving past the 1st would be satisfaction enough.

BOL to you on your games today.

Thanks pal. I believe it's a great thing to get children in the martial arts. There's a point when they will realize that it's no longer the physical but the spiritual. It may not come for years since she's only ten but if she continues to practice, she will have an awakening. I give her about 15 years since she's a woman...I think it takes longer for guys.

awesome Ax...how long did it take u to get to black belt bro??

actually, this one...which is my second only took a few years because I already had a previous one when I was younger. I got that one once I turned 18 and I started when I was 13. My second black belt I got when I was 42. I've been doing this for some time. Mostly for the spiritual side but it keeps my body in decent condition.

I was dying to hear your response to this PnP, I haven't looked at the board this morning but I'm going to see if there's even a remote chance they can pull this off. The comparison to Chicago is questionable but what of the competition?

Thanks Dave...It's Okinawan called Uechi Ryu or Shohei Ryu I believe they call it also. I refer to it by the former.

Thank you sir, I will do my best not to get injured. These guys are much younger and stronger and faster. But...they can't cap basketball!
