Another successful day beating the book. This was called early. I'm not going to go into the picking of this game as the POD on the overnight line but instead I will address the decision to buy again for an additional unit.
The overnight line for MEM/NOH was 188. This caught my eye instantly as something really off. I pounced on it at 1/2U since I think that's all my eye is worth. I quickly looked at some other stuff which I won't go into and before morning it, I jumped in for the full 1U.
I was away most of the morning and by noon, the numbers had significantly jumped. I was going to be busy all day and I needed some answers quick. I tired to touch base with some of the players I know personally and there really wasn't much to go on. While I do pay some attention to what the public plays, I really don't give it much thought when considering a wager. I then went for a quick lunch and my answer was handed to me with a menu. The waitress I've mentioned in the past was all over the OVER in this game. Oh this, oh that...knowing full well I knew she never studies any games. I know it's not an exact science but you have to take what the gambling gods give you sometimes. Signs from heaven aren't going to say "BET THE UNDER" in a cloud formation. The sign was to fade my favorite losing gambler. I love her to death but I would be a rich man just from fading her action. There you go folks, why I didn't just stop at MEM/NOH U188. I bought even more because my waitress was on the other side on a Friday night when I know it time to SQUARE DANCE!
