Note from slice:

P.S* Top Under rated by Differential O/U is 1-8 Last 9 plays, while top Over (in case of tie selected by lowest # to go over) is 6-1 Last 7* (hello OKC)

I think the top CBB play for today is Missouri. James was cleared to play for Marquette but I doubt he has much of an impact. Even with him healthy I just don't see the Eagles beating Missouri or staying within a few points. I have seen alot of people want to jump on Marquette now because of this news, and I just don't see it. Homer bet or not I will be on Missouri hard.
I have no side on this but I like the over here. I just hope I didn't miss the boat @149

CBB [727] TOTAL o149-110
(MARQUETTE vrs MISSOURI)

do you post your picks anywhere?

As our 'header implies - we don't post picks. We discuss and cap the heck out of these things and @ some point individuals often make their POD and/or leans.

RE: Col BB Today: 8 of 9 games went OVER Y'Day - 4 by 10 pts or more - I did quite well as I bet 5 of them.

Think primary reason for this is - 2nd round day brought teams that were much more competetive and even the teams that won by blow-outs (Nova) the loosing teams fought to the bitter end. For some reason - I don't believe this had to do w/ nobody playin 'D', as more to do w/ pace of game and 'the fight' in the teams.

Main dif between Y Day and 1st rd - lotta teams had no chance of winning - and those that did and got down by a lot in 1st H - sort of quit. Y'day and today have teams settled in, cofident - tasted a win and are fightin to move on. I'm hoping for more Overs today.

Morning all -

Nothing still jumps out...

totals are also a no go.

You and Joe on the sidelines...smart choice. I have no full 1U plays either. I've posted some action plays and I'll play a little on the MIA ML. some value there if number starts to move even further.

NBA [703] MIAMI +115

I want throw this out there for my friend jlipp:

in 2008, two very bad teams (<.300) facing each other and each rested at least 1 day and where the O/U set at 200 or less.

O/U 7-6 average total 193.5 and the over covers by 1.5...projected total for the game is somewhere around 195.

OKC/MIN qualifies in this spot for Sunday. the current 199 number is close to the 200 filter I chose.

I should have responded to this earlier, and in my 5 AM haze I thought I had-- the odd (and somewhat funny) part about this is that I think recent history has created a total far too low, meaning that the posted number isn't especially useful as a statistical model. Although the number being low in and of itself is also the point.

I'll exercise restraint and discipline today, Ax - and watch and learn/digest information - there's that unambiguous clarity in viewing a game w/o the overarching nexus of finance involved.

Good luck to you as always and to everyone else as well - hope you're all able to collect at the end of your games today.

Jlipp, I understand that haze...Your argument and the arguments of others were compelling enough for me to jump on board. I then received Slice's report which confirms that the correct ticket on this game is on the big O. Thank you sir...Let's bring this one home!

I came out with right around 205 for the Toronto/LAC game, a 107-98 type game. Like you said, I'm not sure the 4 point cushion is enough to play it, I also like those Accuscore numbers, but again not enough to take it from lean to POD.

I am a Pistons fan, and I will tell you that this team cannot get up for Sunday games. I have no idea why, I have no idea what goes on on Saturday :mj06:, but I know that the Miami ML definitely has value. Wade will be gaurded quite a bit by Bynum, Stuckey, and Afflalo, and should have a big game. I took the ML for a half-unit, and that's my only play as of now, aside from Cuse (square but loved it). BOL to everyone today, I hope we find one tonight.

Thanks pal. I have light action also. Not going to force the issue here. The MIA ML is a good play but the total on that game is a flip of the coin. Books will be happy with the early game. BOL as well. Maybe numbers move in our direction later.

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to chime in with a good job and a pat on the back. I have been lurking and this is great. I will hopefully post some thoughts the next couple days.
