How many of you guys are actually making a good profit during the tourney?

Myself, I haven't played many straight wagers, but I'd say if not losing on juice, I'm very close to even.

I have been thinking that the tourney is really not as bettor friendly as the regular season.

A lot of really tight lines and vegas has the edge for sure during the tourney.

During the season though, its a much different story. I mainly played totals and mostly just Sun Belt, A-10, and SoCon games.

Don't get me wrong, I love the prime time games as much as the next guy, but rarely bet them because of how tight the lines are and think that vegas always has the edge on these big games that are all on TV.

Hard to stay away from betting the tourney because of the action and great games, but it might be better for the wallet:shrug: :142smilie

Honestly, Ive done Very Well during the tournament including NIT, CBI, CIT and CYO:mj07: Seriously I hit some nice ML games and have turned a profit nearly everyday since the tournament(s) started. Matter of fact I hit 5 of 6 days this week and besides last Sunday (I got slaughtered) its been an overall good tourney for me!

this has been one of the most profitable tourneys for me ever..perhaps it's better money management but mostly it's the lack of Cincerella upsets and most things holding to form...many faves covering.

Gotta love Louisville HUGE today, but will also play it as a two-team teaser with NC...NC too many weapons.
Good luck Airportis!

I do 2 team teasers come tourney time and have always done well. Only time of year I do them but 5 points in hoops is huge especially when the lines are so tight

The proof is in the pudding

The proof is in the pudding

OF COURSE it's possible to make moola in these tourneys. It's all about capping the games VERY CAREFULLY, forgetting what others play EXCEPT maybe peoples that have a strong LONG STANDING record (unlike me), and maybe catch some luck when putting small parlays together. Works for me... er, cept the "not following ME" part that is.:142smilie

I don't keep close records here or even in a notebook for myself, but I do like what I'm seeing everytime i check my balance. Just join the 800+ VIEWERS (whoever they are? ) who visited my other two posts in this forum and check out what I posted. Just jump over the "blah, blah, blah.... . . " part. And somehow I managed to get by with some real ass burners to boot.

I do have to admit that I need to improve my money management skills though cause, based on my win/lost record, whatever it is - I think I should be doing even better. Maybe somebody around here read one of them "Money Management" books or have some MM advice to share based on their experiences?

Best advice I could offer is to NOT try get it all back in these final games if you're losing. These games are getting more and more competitive. I'm backing off or even stopping at this point.

Or. just play ...... .. .

(UT OH, Robredo is loosing :scared but still two sets to go. AND the "cinch" of the day (Louisville is starting soon). EGAD... what to do, what to do? What NOT to do is put more on that "cinch" play.)

(Hmmm... not gonna make too many friends with this post, well maybe? Think I'll just start posting tennis plays in the correct place - the TENNIS FORUM. :)

Enjoy the action today and Good Luck everybody.
