Sounds like you got a piece of pussy knocking there....enough Viagra and Vodka and that bill will mysteriously be erased. I would pay a month in advance if she's shaped like an egg.
Only advice I know or "heard" of is waiting out the 10 yr limit, after 10 years from the day of filing or owing( I forget which one) they no longer can come after what is owed by an individual, I was told that by a tax lawyer so is there anyone who knows different or if this is true or false? Problem I see there is that must mean no reported income or trace of ownership of any major properties or belongings for the 10 years.:shrug:
plenty of bums and layabouts I know don't ever file. For decades. Don't ever get bothered by IRS 'cause they got almost nothing and don't earn money in a way that can be garnished.
That 10 year statue of limitations is true, But: it is 10 years from time you file (and don't pay) or IRS assesses you a bill (you don't pay).
If never filed or bill not assessed, they can go back as far as they want--and have many a time!
Also, not filing is a criminal offense. Not paying isn't. So I tell myse---I mean, I tell my layabout freinds who don't pay that they should at least file...
