not sure i'm liking the way that SRZ is feeding us tibits of info starting on friday after the thursday pull back.

i think they should have waited until friday and get it all out with the earnings report and conference call.

why would the CFO get terminated and he has been working side by side with the CEO for around 20 years. and now they have to pay him 2 years salary and bonus and health insurance for 2 years? wtf is that?

it seems to me they are trying to keep the stock price up until friday.

not sure what to make of it all.

Vinnie SSO yes im in for a 1000 and UYM the same. In on The day they now call bottom. Something I at time NEVER could have suggestto anyone take on. That day in march most thought the world was ending. And who could blame them. I am now thinking hold both for the long haul.

i'm better off not watching this crap :SIB

You are, no doubt, better off not watching CNBC if you are looking at it as stock investing ideas. It might be the absolute worst source for that.

It's like my wife reading People magazine for the "news".

I watch CNBC merely for the business interviews... and the hot chicks!

I also think it's confusing that they are releasing so much news the week of earnings. This is normally not a good sign.

i know. i'm thinking they are trying to keep the price propped up for some reason.

time will tell.

AKAM down -1.01 PM and I can't find a reason anywhere. wtf? it's only 800 shares so maybe doesn't mean anything.

i'm in the same boat. i only have one slightly in the red and i think all will double. just hope i have the patience to hold on.

recently sold EGLE for $7.00 and a small profit, now it's $9.00+ and sold DRYS for $6.00 and a nice profit and now it's heading over $10 again. pisses me off and i know it shouldn't.

My trading account isn't big enough for the pre/post market tools to be free, and I don't trade in after-hours so I don't pay for them.

Started a 90 paper trading philosophy again today.

It's something I toyed with in 2006 and had some general success with it.

It's a system, and as the old saying goes "a system works until it doesn't". So I am going to play it cautiously with a smaller portion of my trading account.

So here is the first report:

QQQQ Day 1: No trade :)

Note1: This is paper trading for now
Note2: All gains/losses will be expressed post-commission
Note3: Virtual account size being used is $5,000

Day 2: +1.9% portfolio gain

Bought: 10 .QQQQK @ 2.13
Sold: 10 .QQQQK @ 2.24

+110.00
-15.00 commissions
