`zackly...we would always take her out a day or two before to beat the crowds....maybe take her to a nice mall she`d never been to to pick something nice out prior to the meal....it was a two-fer(her and the old lady)...

was fun..i got to put a nice bag on and they got to shop and stuff their faces...

those were the good old days...

tradition here for my wife. I always take up the slack for the kids and make it special for my wife. I make her eggs benedict with Mimosas to start off the day. Flowers, presents, steaks on the grill later.

I just give her the ole high hard one and call it a day. (My wife, not my mom, sickos)

send her a card and give her a call as I don't live near her. And it is my personal tradition to get in a round of golf. Courses are typically pretty open on Mother's day.

It's nice to grill whatever you like and drink as much as you want and not have to worry about driving
