this right on the heels of lil`spencer getting clipped?.....
throw in fdc`s niece`s health issues and we`re having a run of bad business here...
had multiple deaths in my family the last several years and it`s been very difficult..
...shouldn`t get hit with so much in such a short period of time....shakes one`s faith...

Looking for some guidance...
I have Never had to bury a loved one...I don't even know where to begin..
Here is a list of priorities
1. See if Dad had a will
2. If so, what were his burial requests.
3. If not, speak to my stepmother
4. did Dad have life insurance
5. where does Dad want to be buried
Ellis family has family plots in McComb, Ms...BUT did dad and Linda discuss something else
6. Notify famly--DONE
7. church service...gravesite service...viewing :shrug:
8. reception...
9. newspaper announcement
If I'm forgetting anything please let me know.....still in 'shock'

sorry you're going through this, lawrence. i guess get together with sibblings and talk to stepmother. find a funeral home and they will guide you from there.
stepmother should know 1, 2, 4, 5, and 7.
Very sorry to hear this. I lost my dad 9 years ago so I know what you're going through. Thoughts and prayers.
I am sooo sorry, that is way too young to lose your Dad, He is a few years younger than my Father. That just lets you realise you never know when things will happen...
lawrence..sorry for your loss.I know this has to hurt....having just lost my mother a month ago...prayers and thoughts are with you family...
