Try to download this uninstall program.

This baby will get rid of any installed program. And it's free.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
in safe mode did you arrow down, click on, and do automatic system restore? That rarely works. Got to system restore thru Start/programs/accessories/system tools/system restore. Then manually pic your own restore date.

Can you run any cleaner, anti-spyware or virus program from safe mode? Some should work from programs list.

First in your hearts.
Do you have a flash drive? If so, download HijackThis and put it on the flash drive. Then put the flash drive in the infected machine and run HijackThis.

WARNING: DO NOT LET HIJACKTHIS TRY TO FIX YOUR PROBLEM. IT SUCKS FOR THAT, BUT IS EXCELLENT FOR DIAGNOSTICS (AND FREE). JUST HAVE IT DO A SYSTEM SCAN.

After it has done the system scan, it will generate a logfile. If it does that, save the logfile to the flash drive, move the drive to the good computer, and then copy and paste the logfile here.

when you get this all fixed do a windows update also on your computer to make sure all your patches are up to date

Sometimes it helps to disconnect from the internet when trying to remove malware programs like this

Update..

Update..

Over the week-end had a friend over who is pretty computer savvy. After about an hour he was unable to do much.

Ended up taking it to the local computer guy who everyone speaks very highly of. hould have it back in a couple days.

Thanks again for all the responses.

Will be sure to do a windows update when I get it back.
