point being NO it isnt GOOD, but it happens all the time and them SAME CEOs grow the comapny and are successful....if that CEO was marked failure or company killer do you think another company would hire them? I wasnt saying its a bad idea noone can do it:kiss:

Dear jack -- You may have seen the news that Michael Vick has been released from prison, and that The Humane Society of the United States is going to provide an opportunity for him to get involved in some of our anti-dogfighting outreach programs. Animal advocates might be skeptical, as I was, about whether a man who committed such horrible acts to dogs could do anything positive to help animals. But I want to give him the chance to be part of the solution, rather than part of the problem. If he is serious -- and we?ll soon find out -- then Vick can help HSUS reach young men in urban communities and tell his story about dogfighting being a dead end. Our on-the-street programs teach at-risk kids that pit bulls are friends, not fighters. I wanted to share with you my blog which I've just posted today, which elaborates on my thinking.

personally,i`d love to see the prick rot in jail...but,if they can use him to put the message out to the morons in the inner cities that pit bulls are pets and not weapons or status symbols, then i think that`s a pretty smart move...

of course,it`s very possible that vick is either "that stupid" or rotten to the core, and is just using this opportunity to reinvent himself....

still,it`s a smart move by this guy pacelle...i guess it`s worth a try...

if vick f-cks up,make it public...make sure people know...so they can vilify his cruel ass...

is it good to have a CEO that ruined 1 business running another one? Happens all the time. It isnt good for any person who has criminal thought and patterns to be insociety, BUT once the debt is paid I believe that real habilitation begins when THEY look at the world in a different light, a crackhead is a crackhead until they believe they dont want/need the crack any longer...but if that crackhead goes into a new upscale neighborhood and all his new neighbors keep calling him a crackhead and dont expect anything more from him then to be a crackhead....he will probably end up smoking the glass dick again...if that same person went to the new neighborhood and was accepted as a new neighbor, Im wiling to bet he could find enough to keep him positive and busy not to endulge in crack again...different mindset between a rapist and a crackhead(i dunno) they both feel as though they need the drug/sex in order to be complete..i just dont think the way we do things now really truely works...I;ll give you a personal example---I know of and am myself one who made a mistake when I was younger, through that mistake as a yongster Ive been overlooked (and told so) on 2 different jobs where as I felt as though those jobs were ones I wanted to be at longterm.....because of a past and prior. Luckily Ive been fortunate to build something from nothing for myself and family but I am only hopefully I can have continued luck(i like to call it)...so maybe thats why I am so AGAINST labels and profiles of a person.....it doesnt allow you to know the person, but rather cast them in a light of to what to expect. And my mistake has been over 10 yrs ago....still affecting me:violin:

What the fawk are you talking about...? Are you really comparing a CEO who failed in his business to a convicted dog killer? What kind of fawk up reasoning is that...? Get a fawking clue, dirtbag...

Go ahead and reinstate him. He did his time. I am a dog lover and I can accept it. The abuse he will get from fans will be satisfying enough for me. That being said, from a football standpoint I think being away from the game hurts him ALOT considering he was a QB. I doubt he will come back and try and be anything else.

This line always makes me laugh.

Pedophiles and rapists dont get that treatment. They get put on lists that pretty well guarantee them no jobs and lots of headaches when they move into neighbourhoods.

Is this as bad?? To some people yes. To me no.

But we're acting as if what he did was get a speeding ticket. Vick proved he is a big time lowlife who doesnt use common sense. He did do his jailtime but he'll never actually do his TIME for his criminal acts.

The NFL will be making a huge mistake if they let this lowlife back in. Just my opinion.

You're not a dog lover if you accept what he did and feel he deserves another shot. Him and his brother are both criminal punks
