I have been stuck watching this show for what seems like several years. I loved Monday's episode! Kate is a witch and a phony. I've always hated the way she's treated John, so I'm glad he's fighting back.
Witch or not, the fact that John has had "mulitples" since he was 22 yrs old couldn't be a good thing for their marriage. Looks like he's trying to do a lot of the things the rest of us got out of our system in our mid 20's.

my wife and I have watched the show on and off for a few years, it seems like Kate is more into material things as time goes on. she wants material things but hates the paparazzi, you can't have it both ways... I do not promote cheating either but in this case if my wife was a bitch like Kate, I would have to think about it. I have been seeing this shit about Jon and Kate for sometime now. On yahoo and on aol, radio. I didn't know what is was until the other day when it was on TV all day at work. Some Marathon. I asked my co worker.. What the hell is this and then she filled me in. I say who the hell watches this. She says, "everybody." SO I tuned into it and I thought to myself. That guy is living in misery.. You know what, it's his own damn fault. I am never an advocate of having the woman wear the pants so to speak. He should of grown a pair of balls a long time ago. All that woman does is bitch and nag and control everything. I guess thats what happens when you have 8 kids. Anyway to sum it up quickly, Kate = BITCH and JON = dumb fuck. I guess that is why I am not married. I can't stand someone trying to tell me what to do. Where I can go, what time I have to be home.

Most of my married friends have told me the same thing. Most of them got married in their early 20s and they get pist at me for being able to do what I want lol. My wife has subjected to this for years. It wasn't that bad when the kids were little. Once they hit the annoying age of 3 it became completely unbearable. At least when they were little, you could enjoy their innocence and also enjoy how horrible his life was because of her. When they became an annoyance, I could not take it anymore.
We did watch last night, from an entertainment standpoint it was great to watch... from being a father standpoint, you just feel bad about how even more screwed up those kids are going to be.
I loved how interviews were completely seperate and when they were together, the both basically said the only reason they are even together now is because of the kids. Neither one has any interest in the other. I did hear him say that he never cheated on her, but she never came out and said that the same. I think she banged the security guy and then he said 'fuck it'. He showed no regret in his interviews, while you could see it in her that she is to blame.

Consider yourself lucky. I will say though it is worth tuning in at least once just to see the total misery this guy suffers. He walks around looking like a manic depressed on oxycotin. If nothing else the show reminds me how good I have it:mj07:

I understand wanting to be Jon instead of Jon and Kate plus 8 but you signed up for a reality show about you having 2 sets of multiples. I think they will have Dr. Phil come in to save the day...Or they are doing this for ratings sake, who knows...I do think the feeling that both have is real...Its going to be hard on these kids as it is, now without a dad not always around they are going to be really messed up

Jon seems like he's a nice guy, but their personalities don't go together. She's too uptight and structured, he's too easy-going.
Oh, and bleeding purple, anyone with a brain and strong sense of self doesn't like to be bossed around, nagged, or told what to do.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see what happens...

I cant believe it but I'd never heard of this show before either. I started seeing their mugs on the mags at the checkout aisle and thought the dude (John) was the guy who gave birth awhile back. :shrug:
