I have a couple of buddies from Texas visiting this week and we are doing several pretty cool trips around the countryside. The following pictures are of a three hour fishing trip we took yesterday in Gutan Lake which is part of the Panama Canal. Over the next couple of days I will post additional photos of a rainforest canopy tour that we are going on tomorrow and then on Monday, a fishing trip around Taboga Island which is off of the Pacific coast of Panama.

My friends and I took a drive to just beyond Portobello today to spend some time in the rainforest including a nine cable zipline run through the canopy. These pics are off of my camera and I only took a few but the other guys were clicking away all afternoon and I will get the pics off their camera when they wake up tomorrow. I think their time in Panama finally caught up with them today, LOL.

I am glad to see some of you guys are enjoying the pictures.

Great stuff Judge, keep 'em coming. You are really redeeming yourself after the crap you pulled with stopping all those online poker payments.

I like that red breasted parrot.

Did you happen to run across any of those brown bellied bed thrashers down there?

One or two. .. ;)

I'll post pics of our fishing trip around Taboga Island sometime this evening. Right now I have to herd up the visiting gringos and somehow get them to the airport early this afternoon. Considering the amount of alcohol that was consumed last night, that might prove to be quite a chore.

Finally, the boys have headed back to the States. It was a long but fun filled week packed full of all kind of touristy stuff that I don?t regularly do so this was a nice little vacation break for me. The following pics are of our Taboga Island fishing trip on Monday. We only caught a couple of Spanish Mackerel but that was fine as the scenery was breathtaking.
