are you guys saying that democrats have no morals or ideals?...if that`s the case,i want no part of them.....
seems to me that some people on both sides of the aisle fail to live up to a moral standard.....
i always thought that atheists aspire to be moral folks just as many religious folks do?.....
unfortunately,not everyone meets these aspirations...
I thought I had explained that a few times already, but maybe not well enough. What I am saying (again) is that the difference is that most conservatives campaign loudly about morals and ideals and use that to garner support - it's like they want people to think they are better than the dems for what they "stand for" and "represent". Especially since Clinton, when apparently at least a few of those ripping him for his imorality were doing the same thing he was, or worse. You do see dems trying to portray a good image, but it's rarely as strongly campaigned on as conservatives. If you don't agree with that, not sure what to tell you.
Oh, and I don't think anyone is holding their breath waiting for you to "want a part" of any democrats, for what it's worth.
Glad someone above pointed out Gingrich in response to your mentioning Edwards. Can also throw McCain in there - both well known for taking advantage of sick wives to have their fun. Which DOES take that to a new level, IMO.
There's a big difference when you crow about having high moral standards, and then come up so far short. One should be more careful if you are always saying to others: "Hey, look at me!" Sometimes people actually do.
