Grooveshark.com and Pandora.com

Grooveshark.com and Pandora.com are fantastic music services.

Pandora is more advanced on building a station based on your preferences, but Grooveshark allows you to play songs on-demand which is a huge bonus.

Grooveshark was a recent entry in the TechCrunch50 which is a really big honor in the new tech world.

Do we have to download all sorts of crap that will slow down our computer just to get this? :shrug:

I have tried some of the other suggestions from here like limewire, etc., only to find it screws up my system, and allows all sorts of spyware. I'm not the most computer literate out there, but would like to know since this seems of some interest to me......

These are not applications that download music (or other BS) to your computer.

These are web-based services simply to allow you to listen to music.

You will be able to listen to the music, but you will not be able to take it with you.

I found that if you just key in Aerosmith for a station on Pandora it plays some great music and nothing that sucks.

I've been a Pandora guy for a couple of years. The thing is, you have to switch it up now and then. They will play the same shit over and over on your ass.

Apparently you can only cancel 5 or 6 songs in a day. Is there any other way to bypass a song you don't like?
