Ha! That was pretty cool.

My mom is such a huge C. Eastwood fan and it rubbed off on me too. The spaghetti westerns are my favorite. Thanks for sharing the link....

thanks for sharing that....hugo montenegro couldn't have done it better...enrico morreani..the music in those were so great....I was living in Italy in the mid-60's when fistful of dollars, good, bad and the ugly,etc...came out.The Italians went nuts over them...I lived on a US army base and we never got to see those movies...we got the Audie Murphy movies made in the US on the base.In 1964 and 1967 the most popular Italian TV show was Rin,Tin,Tin,Bonaza and perry mason...the dubbing was so bad back then..but the Italians loved US westerns...
I'll always remember a Bonaza episode where Ben,Hoss, little joe are fighting over there land on the Ponderosa with Indians...some Indians and the Cartrights meet on the plains...Indian chief puts his hand up and says.."Caio". Little Joe was " piccola joe"...
I could understand about half of what they were saying...
Then Clint came upon the scene in those spagetti's..acting was so bad..throw in the music and those spainish deserts[thats where they were all filmed} and you have classics today
That ukalele orchestra was great..thanks

trivia: There were supposed to be 4 spaghetti westerns rather than the trilogy that were made. Clint Eastwood was receiving some good offers and press from the first three and balked at going back and doing a fourth. It caused friction between Eastwood and Sergio Leone (the producer) and they didn't talk for 30 years. Once asked about Eastwood's acting, Sergio said 'he's got two expressions, with a hat and without'.

can remember back when the spaghetti westerns first came out, film critics were livid, calling them worthless violence-filled garbage, if they didn't pan them outright.

but people in the theatres where they played were howling and applauding, they loved them. i even went as far as telling my buddies at the time, ''screw the critics, the good, the bad and the ugly ranks up there with my favorited movies of all time.''

very interesting to ironically see today's critics showering praise on leone's westerns, tg, tb & tu even scoring 100% approval at the rotten tomatoes site.
