Jack,

I'd fly right into GB and stay across the street at the Casino. It is actually pretty nice. I shot craps there last Friday night. A few years back, Theisman and the rest of the MNF crew were shooting craps there over the weekend. I've also played while Aaron Rodgers was there. Great guy by the way. Everytime someone rolled a 4 the table would booo. He just laughed.

Marine is 100% correct about all of the info on the poker room. There are a lot of people with deep pockets and zero poker skill in that room. That casino (also Oneida Nation) is just about a 5 minute drive away.

I'd fly into GB and plan on watching the Sunday games at one of the bars near the stadium. That would be a good warmup for the tailgate party the next day. The whole area is a big party on game weekends. That would give you something else to do besides the casino.

If you have a designated driver, I'd go with a rental car. Believe me, in GB it wont be a problem. Getting to and from the game will be much easier with a rental.

If anyone else is going to the game we could have a tailgate party. A poker game / craps session / dinner the night before could be fun too.

If you need tickets there is a Ticket King here. It is right across from the field. By the way I think the only bad seats are the ones in the first 5-10 rows from the bottom. It can be hard to see the game over the players on the bench if you are too low.
http://www.theticketking.com/

The comments about how GB fans treat people in other jerseys is 100% correct as well. You MIGHT get a few comments from a drunk in the stands. That is it.

Feel free to email me if you have any other questions or if there is anything else I can do.

You will have a blast.

raddisson is booked. no problem, i don't need a casino at all anyway :SIB

i guess a good place to be near watching FB all day sunday.

my partner doesn't drink but tail gating doesn't work like this in baltimore unless you have parking tickets. we can hook up with others that may be tail gating anyway.

I'd watch the games at one of the following:
"The Stadium View" (I worked there in College.)
"The Bar"
"Anduzzi's"

The tickets look cheap on Ticket King. Wow. I guess I thought scalped tickets were a lot more.

You probably don't need many restuarant ideas because there will be plenty of food on Sunday at the sports bars or at the tailgate.

Believe me, you'll know someone that you can tailgate with. I'm sure we'll find a few people that are going.

If you want to watch the games in a little more calm but still fun place I'd go across town (10 minutes) and sit at "The Bar East"

Classic Green Bay sports watching. Plenty of things at that bar to keep you busy.

ok,

If I was booking this trip..and hey, I've done a number of BWI to Wisky trips in my time....

It's 6 December you are getting in. It's wintertime here. There's snow on the ground. It can get real real ugly. I'd opt to fly in to Milwaukee (MKE) vice GB. Reason being - if you get foul weather, you have a better shot at landing in milwaukee than you do GB. And if MKE is down, they can get you in to ORD and you can take a quick bus ride up to MKE.

I just did the drive from MKE to Oneida poker room last weekend. It's about 115 miles and it's straight interstate. Just under 2 hours due to some minor construction.

There's enough to do in milwaukee on sunday to keep you busy, go to the new Harley Davidson museum or something on sunday, go to potowatomi casino, go take a brewery tour, or stop by and shovel snow for me. Stay the night in milwaukee on sunday and drive to GB on Monday morning.

What airport are you flying from? If I knew that, I'd look it up and give you realistic times.

Now, post game on monday night... if you can stay in green bay that night and drive back to mke on tuesday morning i would recommend that. it's going to be late, and yer going to have some beer in you, and the roads are going to be slicker than snot.

You can get a full size car from any major rental place for $30/day.

For a room Monday night in Green Bay. There is a hampton inn with a 2 beds for $249. Hotel is full, but I can swing my big stick ;) and use status with the hotel to get a room for you. Or, I would think Mags does enough travel he could work something too.

I've been to Lambeu a few times. Not a Packers fan, nor a fan of any team they were playing against when I was there. Just lucky enough to have a friend that has tickets. Anyway the local guys will have more suggestions as to what to do, but it is the best NFL tailgating experience in my mind. And as a Chiefs fan when they use to be considered the best locale (in the 90's) I think that says quite a bit.

Packer fans are the most courteous you are going to get on a professional level.

Definitely a trip every football fan should make at least once.

This is an absolute must-see. Fuzzy Thurston's Bar. Fuzzy is usually there, especially game weekends. Several of former players (including former Raven's players) will probably be there before and after the game. That's where they like to meet. I've been there and it is awesome. Nothing fancy, just a good ol' neighborhood bar. Here is the website:
