Anyone been? Decent park?

Wife, kids and mom-in-law going Wed-Sat night. I can't decide if I want to go.

Looks like 500 miles from her. Ugh!

They're only open Fri-Sun so we could go those 2 days.
Need input on what to do Thursday. The Colonial aspect of it seems appealing. I would enjoy that history stuff but don't think the boys will(oh tough crap BTW). I think they will make the best of it.

Any tips or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks.

It's been a while. Fun park for adults, some good coasters. Not much for smaller children from what I remember so you might want to check into that.

As far as the colonial stuff...you are right the kids will find it a snooze fest but actually it's pretty awesome if you are into history.

The kids are 13 and 10. They should qualify for all the rides. I don't ride anything. I puke if I go on the merry-go-round!

Love history! I'll have to work it out if I go.

My littlest has a bearded dragon lizard. Sucker is almost 2 foot long, nose to the end of his tail. Nobody to feed him if we're all gone. Plus a bowling night and mowing. Lots to do while they're gone but I'm the biggest worry-wart ever so I'd feel better if I was with them.

What to do? :0corn

Thanks saint.

Thanks Old School. Yeah, we're watching the weather close. Jackets are ready to go. It's the kids' Fall Break but would like to maybe try it in the Spring as well.

Gonna sleep on it. I'm leaning going as the weather here is going to be crap as well so no mowing. I'll get a sub for bowling, maybe jr11!

Thanks again.

Cancelled Williamsburg. Freaking weather!

They're going to Atlanta.

Aquarium Thursday, Zoo Friday and 6 Flags Saturday. No thanks!

Weather looks good Friday and Saturday. Nice and cool.

Thanks for the replies. I appreciate it!
