Vegas quiet these days? That's what I heard. Never saw the place quiet EXCEPT for one time that I'll never forget - 9/11. I just finished packing the bags and head to the airport and, for some unknown reason, put the TV on to see what the weather was like back home. What do I see... a smoking building. And 5 minutes later the building right next to it gets hit. Then I realize that I didn't hear a single airplane in the sky. Hmmm.. ain't leaving Vegas after all:00hour
So much for leaving Vegas AFTER a week of fun and frolic. No pills, no smokes, no underwear :0 for another 3 DAYS. And man, you NEVER saw Vegas so quiet those last 3 days. Doom n Gloom wherever you went.
Got comped for 2 nights at the hotel due to the mishap, but the return trip home is another story.
