Hey gang,

The economy of tonight's board should be much better. More games - more options. I'm looking at an UNDER play on CLE/TOR. I actually locked this for 1/20thU (action play) last night at 191. There was also a very interesting number last night that I had to jump on. Tell me why I played the NYK +6? Last night had me itchin and I needed to get in on the action. Both plays are for loose change. No need to go overboard. Also looking at some late games but I'm already one over my limit. I capped all the games and I think there's some live ones out there.

BOL guys.

Interesting

Interesting

Last Night the Dogs ran wild!!!

The Unders were kings!!!

Like your NYK play and will look again at Clev.

Last night going 2-1 was painful cus the 1 was for more than the two combined.:moon: But never forget i really suck at this!

Tonight i Love the Stones -3

The Spurs Under has got to get a look.

Did you cap the Spurs game

I did and I also liked the NOH/SAS under. I went with my other play since I'm limiting my action. You know me forty :)

We might be looking at the same numbers cause I too like DET -3 but took NYK instead.

1 side and 1 total for me tonight. Can't play 'em all. Fingers crossed I picked the right ones.

Some things never change: the Lakers still possess a lackadaisical attitude - capable of steamrolling over the Clippers and calling it an early night, they took their foot off the pedal and made it interesting in segments giving false hope to the former Buffalo Braves franchise.

Kobe et al only seem to get inspired for BIG contests - trumping the Suns when they were the West Coast darlings, Christmas Day matches, or shutting down the new Turks (when Chicago went on a decent run last season), besting both Boston and Cleveland on their home courts - when up against lesser competition, they ultimately do what they have to in order to eke out out a victory, but don't punish teams in the manner of a Belichick and Brady when confronted w/ lesser, slumping, etc. competition. Almost as if it's beneath them.

Like both plays - Cleveland on a back-to-back at the start of the season may result in tired legs come the 4th; although some subscribe to the notion that it spells easy baskets, it also can prove taxing in marshalling the energy to score. The Raptors supposedly have installed a new defensive scheme - early signs during the preseason haven't quelled suspicions that these changes have yet to be fully sublimated.

As for the Knicks, they're not quite there yet, but after a year under D'Antoni, the players who are back should know what's expected - Miami hasn't really upgraded its squad beyond a one-man team; despite the Heat wanting to impress at home, the Knicks may indeed keep it close; if correct, games last season were testy affairs b/w these 2 outfits.

WELL SAID!

As a HUGE HOMER I told myself that whenever they were laying more than 11 to a shitty team STAY AWAY or FADE them.

They will win the big games and most likely against the spread but they will not cover a lot of games they should.

With that said I see a lot of value in

PHO -2 After watching the clippers last night they are hopeless, only reason that game was not over at half time is because Phil played Walton, Powell, Farmar, Brown, Mbenga for a 6 or 7 minute stretch in the 2nd quarter.

CLE U190.5 These teams play to the under something like 85% of the games over the last 3 years. Cleveland D looked good except for the 3nd quarter.

CLE -5.5 Not losing b2b to start the season and Turkuglo is nursing a bad ankle he rolled in the last preseason game

ORL -9.5 (without Miller Philly will struggle quite a bit this year, Williams is not a PG)

ETZ,
always love the commentary. I read a book over the summer on how to insult people in such a nice way they don't even know it. :) I'm starting to think you're not a big fan of the Lake Show but more often than not, you're on point. Keep 'em coming my friend.

Here's my question. Are the Lakers "capable" of punishing teams? The west has been traditionally "SOFT".

One more I like is DET -2.5 havent pulled any triggers yet.

Probably not Ax, they aren't a physical team. Adding Artest doesn't just make them physical.

BOSTON is physical, and adding Sheed and Daniels makes them the #1 contender in IMHO

Adding Artest was a move in the right direction. It has to be in the back of their minds.

Reminds me of the Phillies. You wanna play with the big boys, you gotta pound the ball like an American League team.

T,
That number has dropped a few since I capped it last @208. My trending data is unreliable since the HEAT just don't play those games in that range. Let me run these new numbers and get back to ya.

Hedo's ankle is fine. he said he would have kept playing in that game if it was in reg season and that he has played hurt before. he is a gamer and he will def make this toronto team alot better. Opening nite in toronto will be a factor too, im sure it will be loud as hell in there! I would not bet on the cavs tonite and am strongly considering taking raps +6...if it gets to +7 it will be my first real play of the season. GL buds
