I have had both the storm and the blackberry with the round ball mouse and set keypad........

I like the phone that has the set keypad and mouse better...............

The Droid is going to be as good or better than the iPhone. I have had my iPhone for about 6ish months. I wish we would have waited because being on AT&T blows donkey nuts.

The iPhone App store will be tough to compete with, but with the new development tools out like Appcelerator Titanium the programming involved to work on other platforms is lowering.

If I were not locked into a contract, I would be planning on switching to the Droid once I read a few reviews.

The real scary thing that the Droid makes apparent is the viability of all of the Garmin products. The Google Maps Navigation looks incredible.

Why not an iPhone?

Just got an iphone 2 days ago.

Man I love it, it is awsome, can't believe I had my razor for 4 years.

I hate change, but this was the best thing I have had in cell phones.

AT&T here is great, been with them ever since they took over Cingular.

I'm going to get myself some Droids in November.

I'm up for 2 new phones on my Verizon contract. BTW, I'm with Jack in that I will stay with Verizon. Not because I "like" them but because AT&T and Sprint suck and drop calls all the time. They have a superior network compared to other providers, at least on the East coast.

Jack - when someone compares a Storm to an iPhone it is like comparing a remote control car with a real car. The difference is immeasurable. Really.

If you go to the AT&T store - they will let you borrow a phone to see if it works at your house. If it does - reconsider.

If not - look at a HTC Imagio. http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneDetail&selectedPhoneId=5029

Just sayin'

Totally agree, I have my blackberry world edition through Verizon at work and a couple people upgraded to the storm a year ago, both of them went back to the regular blackberry a few weeks later. The touch screen was impossible to use, the screen would freeze and the delay in touch caused them numerous headaches. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

the blackberry storm has not gone over very well, a lot of frustration on it. I am a proud blackberry tour owner on vzw. A lot of people love their iphone. I wouldn't buy a storm has that phone is almost 1 year old on its own and then your going to sign a 2 year contract.

I am interested in seeing what the droid does and the new htc phone

I have had the blackberry storm and I hate it. I wish I would have gotten an Iphone instead.
I had to turn mine in after6 months or so because it just locked up and wouldnt work.
they exchanged it with a reconditioned one.
one problem that I always have is it basicly freezes and you have to pull the battery out and do a hard reboot. it takes several minutes to use again. This happens at least once a day. I use mine for a few email accounts and other things. it is my office while I'm mobile.
I recommend either a regular blackberry or something else.
If I ever see the verizon guy that is in all of these commercials, I will kick him squarely in the balls.
hope that helps. lol
