You nailed it yyz. :mj07: Believe it or not, it was easier for me to stop drinking ( and I was a full blown alcoholic) than it has been to quit the rush of the action. Hopefully this time it sticks.

yyz quit too - and was going to come back every once in a while to check on us

Hey Redhog! :fingerc:

It's not a saga, it's my life. As far as being an attention whore, you're way off base. 90% of my over 4,000 posts are plays. I would have to think I've done more to help the creditability of this site than to hurt it like most of the yahoos on here who feel the need to pop into a thread and bust someones balls.

It's one thing to tell your spouse or friend you're gonna quit drinking or gambling, but when you put it out there, it's kind of therapeutic. I'm almost 3 years sober now thanks to the support of many on this site. Anyway, don't want to ramble on and give you my whole life story. You're post just really rubbed me the wrong way.

I've always thought of Mully as a true class act. He respects everyone on the forum and is very easy to get along with. I wish you the best of luck Mully.

You are a true player, Mully. There is nothing wrong with not betting anymore. Within a few months you will see things entirely different...and for the better.

Mully if you enjoy the capping like most of us do--why not just lower wagers below "sweating" threshhold.

I have a couple friends that fire pretty hard at em one on horses and the other black jack.

I have discussed their situations at length with them and we all came to conclusion it was not the game or sport or challenge that they enjoyed--
--it was the action. When that is the case its best to quit IMO.

--however I certainly would miss it if my black jack playing buddy quit. He is member of our standard golf 4some and we all get compted rooms and food everywhere we go.:)

Mully,

Just quit and don't look back. It's the best thing to do if you want to keep your family.
