do you untie and tie your shoes every time?

Interesting.

I always kick my shoes off once I get home, and when they are fairly new, I untie them. As they get older.....I leave them tied.

But, I untie them before slipping them on almost always, simply to prevent breaking down the backs of the shoes. Why the hell dance around like a goof trying to squeeze your foot into a tightly tied shoe? And if your foot slides right in......the shoe isn't tied nearly tight enough!

It really isn't a chore to get dressed, guys.

why do you boys need them tied tight? you wearing high tops too and need the support? wtf? this ain't ice skating.

So they don't "flop" around.

They have laces for a reason, sir.

One of the reasons you see so many of these apes shuffling around when they walk around, is because their shoes are in danger of falling off if they pick up their fucking feet!

Tying your shoes, "tightly", doesn't mean that they are choking your feet. They should still feel quite comfortable.

i keep them tied and when i put them on i slide my fore finger around the back in a full swoop and on they are. the sneakers i am wearing today might not have been tied for over 2 years. something like that. :00hour

Do you zip a jacket one time, and then put it on, and take it off, like a sweater?

That's another huge time saver for you guys.

acehistr8 would have you killed for leaving your car running while filling up... :)

... or was that yyz? that thread was from a long time ago!

This type of thread is really why this forum is great. I know many on here will hate that this thread is getting bumped but this is some funny shit.

BTW, never untie my "running" shoes. Always untie any dressier shoes that I have.

7-8 months a year, I'm in flip-flops 80-90% of the time. I don't tie them.

Shit no, it wasn't ME!

That's one of the biggest urban legends there ever was......."Don't fill up your car with the engine running!"

You have about one car catch fire for every hundred plane craches, for Christ's sake! :mj07:

Added:

I was filling my car one winter day at about 20 below zero. I got about $3 in, and the attendant inside shut the pump off on me. I knew goddamned good and well it was because I had my car running.

I went inside, and the gal says, "You have to shut your engine off to pump more gas."

I told her that was fine, and put three bucks on the counter, and walked out. :mj07:

Do that many people put their socks and shoes on in succession to where you have an option? If I was living out of the Knight's Inn, yeah, maybe, but don't most people dress in the bedroom and put their shoes on near the door?

How the hell does this thread have so many posts? If I started this thread it would be on page two with zero replies. Quit kissing up to Jack, it won't get you anywhere, just ask Smurphy.

Why do you wear work boots sitting in front on the computer all day

Because you never know when someone's going to offer to help your wife get the bags in the car, and you might have to go choke them out.

Need some good ol, redneck, "stompin' boots" for that kinda work.
