i know this is going to floor you buddy
but the stats i use have indy as the WORST defense of all possible playoff teams (24th overall).....now....that's thru last week, and it's fluid as things can change over the course of the season but
it's not a good sign for them come playoff time and i think they're ripe for a home loss in their first game if their defense doesnt improve....drastically.
they are 30th in the nfl in opponents 3rd down conversion rate.....in the playoffs vs a good team with a good qb, that's going to be their undoing.
they are below average in yards per rush and below average in negative pass plays.
now, can they win with that defense?
obviously since they havent lost yet,
but
that team and that qb have a history of losing in their first playoff game (esp at home)....throw in an undefeated season, throw in a month off from a meaningful game, throw in their defensive injuries and all the pressure of the situation and i think manning might have to play out of him mind and win the game for indy (which he very well may do)
i for one wont be laying a td on them come playoff time
