Old School, it was actually on a little known lake that isn't really that big called Lake Benbrook and is only about half an hour from the house and downtown Fort Worth. Went out for about 3 hours Sunday and was stroking a 3/4 oz. football head jig on a ledge. First one is 11.67 and second 9.71. I don't know about the scales though. They are just an old set of digitals so who knows.
Yea it is that time of year to go big fish hunting. I am going to Mexico in February though and should have many more of those and hopefully a lot bigger.
I actually am lucky enough to live close to quite a few lakes that could produce the next world record and I have been even luckier to catch a good fish here and there. I have one in Bass Pro Shops that was out of Lake Grapevine which is another local lake. This is the time of the year for it as they are looking for a big meal and will be on a typical winter pattern and then the spawn:00hour :00hour :00hour
Anytime anyone wants to go.......even Agent.........let me know.

OS and all,
Kristyn is doing very well and back to her old self but still has some things to deal with and get past mentally but is progressing very well. I can't believe what medicine and caring can do these days. Now the bills for that caring are going to absolutely kill me but there is nothing wrong with rice and beans................lol. You ought to fly down sometime and try to catch the fish of a lifetime or even go to Sugar Lake in Mexico where I guarantee you will catch at least 1 ten pounder. Mi casa su casa.

showed your pics to my neighbor who is my fishing buddy as well and he went bonkers..
told him about Sugar Lake in Mexico and Lake Benbrook ...

Well my friend I have an extra bedroom and there is more than just Benbrook around here. We could go to Choke Canyon, Amistad, Falcon lake, but Sugar is the shit. Look them up on the internet, you can't believe how many big bass lakes there are around my house. hell Lake Fork is only 2 hours away................c'mon down anytime. You are always welcome as well as anyone else that wants to come down and have a nice relaxing weekend that may just include a ten pounder or twol
