Thought I would start the discussion for Friday since tonight's card doesn't seem to have many options or plays that warrant even action from this kid...

From the early numbers for tomorrow I like Minn +1.5 @ home:shrug:

ST. Mary's/Pacific O 135.5

ST. Mary's/Pacific O 135.5

Would appreciate any input on this game. St. Mary's is putting up some impressive offensive numbers and this total just seems low to me considering Pacific can also score when they want to.

Thanks, G :)

I looked at this one too, I agree with your assessment, despite the defensive #'s of both teams, I don't think Pacific can slow this game down enough to keep it under. Both teams shoot exceptionally well from 3pt and the FT line. Only cause of concern was that last year Samham played 31 min and scored 2 pts. Mills had 23 and Diamon Simpson had 11 with 16 rebounds and St. Mary's only put up 74 with 51 of those coming 2nd half. Mills and Simpson are gone now.

Pacific has gone under that number today the past 6 games including against Nevada and Cal both running type teams.

Of course St Marys has gone over that number the past 9 out of 10 games.

It all comes down to whether Pacific can control the pace of the game and how effective will Samham be against this squad tonight? I was looking more at taking the pts with Pacific.

These 2 teams have 2 common opponents this year:

St. Mary's vs SDST 80-58
Pacific vs SDST 71-63

St Mary's vs SJST 78-71
Pacific vs SJST 55-59

If Pacific can control the tempo imo it goes under and they will cover. It's a tough call either way me thinks.

BOL to u brother if you play it :mj06:

Thanks Slice. I'm kinda on the fence with this one, but since St. Mary's is at home I have to believe they'll control it.

BOL to you as well. :mj06:

Going to have to disagree with the GS Under play.Washington is bad but how will GS stop Jamison and i don't see Wash struggling to score like they did vs Sac,they just had bad shooting from everyone but Jamison &Arenas.Wash D is terrible and GS will get their points and Ellis should go for 40 atleast.I just believe both teams will be shooting early as they don't run shit for plays, just first one open shot it,and with neither team playing much D I believe this is a shootout.Just anothers opinion. Also like Wash to win as they are 8 games under 500 ATS.They keep it within the small # but I expect an outright tonight.

Bro, are you guys talking about the same game? I think GS has SAC/MIN. :)

OK my bad, I thought you were talking about Grindstone (GS). :142smilie You're actually talking about the Golden State (GS). Too many GS on this board. My apologies:confused:
