Nice job breaking that 2-game posted slide, pal. And looks like the Friday 'jinx' is behind you after cashing last week also !! :toast:

Looks like a good evening for a lot of us tonight buddy. Ever since someone brought up that "unders" question, it's been bothering me. GS and I capped for 3 unders tonight so we got a live one on WAS/GS but already a night in the black. Got a few other live ones. Mac hooked me up with Pacific tonight also.

Got action on the Pacific game as well, but mine is over 135, and also have Irvine -2 (same as Granpa).

May do 2H play on Wiz/Warriors if the 'itch' stirkes me... Hope you and GS hit the under, bud. :0corn

Funny you mention the under thing. I was just thinking about that the other day, since this time last year, you swore off everything but unders. I think nobody dared to use the 'O' word in those threads back then, remember ? Your reasoning in one of your posts earlier this week about trying out the Dawgs instead once you went live kinda surprised me a bit, even though you have had early season success. But once you paralleled it to the physics analogy, it made some sense. But I'm the last person who should question things ? :nono: Keep it up...

Nice work Ax and everybody else who won.

Didn't mean to suggest the other night that capping is a tougher job than the Marines.
Just wanted to underline the importance of discipline in this business.

I'm sure that GStone is starting to realize this is not as easy as Ax makes it look.

Anyway, BOLTA; and now it's back to work for me

I do remember those days of unders and "not unders" :mj07: Boss, sometimes there's just too much going on in this head. Boredom from research, crunching numbers, and working on new angles to the game. I'm evaluating a few strategies right now. JBril turned me on to the TOER method. Trying to understand it but already see some flaws. It has quite a following but I really think each method must be adapted to the individual capper. Adherence to strict rules makes it a system thus no longer handicapping. It's funny how much of the information available are very similar yet we often can't agree on what they mean. That's the difference between a handicapper and a system player.

Feel free to ignore rants. :)

Understood my friend. I'm just getting ready to dive into tomorrow's card. About to hit the Keurig for the first time in many trips tonight. :)

GS is doing well. He's been making my calls for over a week. I'm just tailing him at this point. LOL :) It must be difficult to abandon what's you've done for years and do something so different. He's submerged himself into this. I'm impressed. GS now has my NHL, MLB and 1/2NBA routines. Soon I'll be lurking his action and just tailing. :0corn

Ignore them ? :mj07: Hell, I've got 'em all stashed away for future use !!

LMAO...seriously. The other day, GS breaks out this email over a year old and starts asking me questions about it. I was like holy sh*t, I'm thankful I wasn't talking out my @$$.

I consider gas prices and tractor pulls some of my favorites. :142smilie

Congrats to all that ca$hed in tonight - looks like a not so unlucky Friday this time 'round.

Best of luck on the remaining live game for anyone w/ a vested fiscal interest.

Looking good so far T20. 119 w/7 min to go. Funny thing is I got this at 135.5 and it dropped to 134.

GL - G

WINNER !!! I saw that, G, it dropped 2 points at my book. Couldn't figure that out, either. No matter - to the window we go, pal ! :00hour

Good play though. I would've never played it if I didn't think it was going to hit. :mj06:

Yeah, it goes that way some times. A good example for me is picking the Ivy League NCAA BB games on Friday nights. You think you've got it figured out, and it NEVER plays out the way it should based on recent or past history. NEVER. That's why I tip my hat to Slice doing as well as he does w/college plays.

I guess this recap says it all........................

Dec. 18, 2009

MORAGA, Calif. (AP) -Omar Samhan had 28 points and eight rebounds and the Saint Mary's defense didn't allow a basket during the final 5 1/2 minutes in an 80-65 win over Pacific Friday night.

Clint Steindl added a career-high 16 points. Mickey McConnell had 15 points and six assists while Ben Allen added 11 points for Saint Mary's (9-1), which has won four of the last six meetings between the two schools.

Sam Willard had 18 points and six rebounds for Pacific (7-3), which pulled within 66-62 on Joe Ford's layin with 5:33 remaining but managed just three free throws the rest of the way.
