How about a buy-in, winner-take-all type of contest for the upcoming bowl games? We thought we would put something together and hopefully there will be sufficient interest to get a nice pot going. I am guessing that we will get more participation if we have smaller buy-in so we will go with $50.
The contest will consist of a total of 15 picks (full game sides and totals) out of the 30 remaining bowl games beginning with the Poinsettia Bowl on Wednesday, December 23rd. Lines will be posted for all games on Sunday, December 20th and all 15 picks must be posted at the same time in one single post. There will be tiebreakers posted with the lines which will consist of various stats for the BCS National Game.
To participate in the contest, you must have an active BetFirstClass account which means that you must have wagered at least $50 at BFC in the 7 days prior to this post. If you have a BFC account but do not meet the minimum wagering requirement, simply reload your account with a minimum of $50 in addition to your $50 contest buy-in and the second $50 will be credited to your account and is yours to wager with. If you do not already have an account at BetFirstClass, just got to the BFC website to sign up and remember to select ?MadJackSports? in the pull down menu next to the ?Referred By? field on the registration page.
BetFirstClass will hold the contest funds and 100% of the buy-in money will be distributed to the top three contestants based on the following payouts:
1st Place ? 50% of buy-in money
2nd Place ? 35% of buy-in money
3rd Place ? 15% of buy-in money
In addition to the buy-in money, BFC will match 50% of those funds with Free Plays that will be distributed to the winners? BFC accounts based on the same percentages. If there are at least 25 contestants, the pot will be sweetened with an additional $350 in Cash Bonuses.
The buy-in money prizes will be sent directly to the winners at the conclusion of the contest or can be deposited into the winners? BFC accounts, at the winners? choice. The Free Play and additional Cash Bonus prizes will require a standard six time rollover before they can be withdrawn from the BFC accounts.
Remember, just a $50 deposit or $50 of action over the past 7 days is required to compete in the contest but all new deposits received (up to $2500) between now and January 1st will be given a 50% Free Play Holiday Bonus.
