I have never felt that we were particularly safe with the security precautions in place but now I am very concerned after this past incident. BTW can someone please tell me how the failure to find the bomb on this guy is going to make a differece with me having to stay in my seat for the last hour and nothing in on my lap or from the overhead? Indiividuals from what I have read CARRY the CRAP on them. JMHO

Yeah, and how about this? DON'T LET PEOPLE WITH NO PASSPORT, PAYING FOR A ONE-WAY TICKET IN CASH, ON THE FUCKING PLANE!

Our response? No blankets and pillows for the last hour of the flight. WTF? Sometimes I really think I live in the bizarro world.

Wait until they find out they can just walk on the subway with a full set of luggage and no one says boo to them. Obama promised change but I don't see it. It is like an open invitation.

they seem to be married to the idea of wreaking havoc on air travel(ers).....guess they feel the economic impact of attacks on airlines has more oomph...more world-wide effect...

but,i believe they could sow just as much fear and apprehension by hitting a series of subways/mass transit venues in big cities...or malls...

I think you just created a new career path... Terrorist Consultations...

"Our independent surveys suggest that public transit terror will account for 85% of the increase in terrorists acts in 2010. For a discounted hourly rate, we can make certain you are one of the few who have the proper management plans to execute and assure success in your 2010 objectives..."

I think the small cities would be best. . . then no one would feel safe. It just doesn't seem that these are smart people that we're dealing with.

I dunno about that. They are fighting the "full" force of the greatest military in the world and they have us stumped. Well maybe just our lwasers are not as smart as their leaders.

and let me add that i find it highly dubious that the one man brave enough....the man who put his career and credibility on the line to expose our government`s complicity in the 9/11 attacks....

finds himself jailed on some obviously bogus domestic violence charges(as we speak)......at the same time that another obviously u.s gov`t/israeli sponsored attack was thwarted by a vigilant citizen-hero....

that`s right...i`m speaking of mr. charles sheen...

coincidence?....ah,no... it`s an outrage !!!

Think about this

Think about this

If these sick fuckers boarded a cruise ship and blew it up at sea. How easy would that be ? Kill 3000+ in one incident. Amazing they have not tried it already.:scared

................................................................

it will always be in big cities recognizable by their majority

if they did something in pissant Oklahoma,

their people would wake up and say where is that ? who cares about pissant anyway.

I'm not liking having him given an attorney and getskin grafts on tax payor dime. I hope I heard report wrong a bit ago that they are waiting for permission to get dna sample--
I suspect that it is formality--as sure they got samples to do dna already--surely the passenger yanked some hair out :)

A more important issue--he acknowledged there would be more coming--had he said they are currently in route--would they have used enhanced interrogation to save planes or sacrifced them in the name of politics.

--on a positive note I have heard the word terrorist used numerous times by admin today--maybe we got out of this with wake up call and changed some minds on nature of the beast.

not sure what how many times administration mentions terror is going to fix. What jurisdiction do we have over foreign airports like Amsterdam? If their security is lapse, and/or they are willing to let individuals skirt the system, compromises are inevitable.

this is really scary stuff. How do you detect this explosive when one of these guys shoves it up his ass in a condom with just the wick hanging out?b

Probably doesn't even have to get that complicated, nobody is going to stand for security people grabbing and feeling peoples packages, or feeling up womens crotchs during checks, that's just not going to happen.
Maybe they need a explosive trained dog to examine every person pre flight.
I can think of 100 scenarios better than no blankets or pillows.
