Top Bowl Game

250 units MIAMI -3

I made no bones about it :00hour when the lines came out that MIAMI was going to be my top bowl play this year.The game opened at 2-, and now is 3-, and will probably hit 4, 4- by game time. I got it at 3 and did'nt buy the hook. This game is against a team i know very well in wisconsin. I learned how to beat this wisconsin team watching Iowa fall behind 10-0 in the first quarter at wisconsin, then they made defenses changes in the second and shut them out the last 3 quarters. Make no mistake about this , i am not saying Miami's defense is even close to iowa's, because it's not. But what Miami will get from that game is how to beat wisconsin with putting eight in the box to stop Clay, the big back for wisc. Then make the qb for wisc. beat them. He won't!!
Every qb in the big ten that wisc played that was mobile, beat the hell out of this secondary from wisconsin. Miami has a mobile qb and he will have many chances to do the same. I look for this to be a higher scoring game. Miami also is basically playing a home game. Wisconsin is not a great team by no means, even worse on the road and I feel miami wins this game by at least ten points and that is why i picked this game as my top bowl game,

100 DIME - MIAMI-FLORIDA HURRICANES - (if line is 3 1/2 you buy the 1/2 and lay 3. You never get beat by the hook when dealing with the 3, 7, 10, 14 or 17 number.) - The 'U" is back.

They come into this game 9-3 with their 3 losses being to Virginia Tech on the road in a downpour, at North Carolina, and at home to Clemson.

Throw out the V-Tech game, as Miami was in the wrong place at the wrong time playing in a hurricane, no pun intended.

Jacory Harris played perhaps the worst game of his career versus the Tarheels throwing 4 INT's, two or which were returned for toucdowns.

As for the Clemson game, they put up close to 450 yards total offense but again couldn't overcome 4 turnovers in a heartbreaking 40-37 loss.

Oh, and they held all world running back C.J. Spiller to less than 70 yards rushing.

This might be the best 9-3 football team in the entire country.

As for Wisconsin, they just can't match the overall speed of what they are going to see tonight.

In their two games versus top 15 opponents this year they were outscored 51-23 losing to Ohio State 31-13 and Iowa 20-10.

I won't even waste my breath talking about their loss at Northwestern, or their near loss at home to Northern Illinois, or Fresno State.

There is a reason the Badgers have been outscored in their last 2 bowl games by a combined score of 63-30 and that reason is pretty damn simple.

SPEED KILLS. Enough said.

This line should be 10, and even then I would lay it as I just see the Canes shutting down the Badger run game and turning loose their secondary to pick some passes.

Enjoy the double digit winner as the Canes deliver big for me tonight.

Them and every other square. Miami is the biggest public play of the Bowls. Vegas cleans up today.

I guess it all comes down to effort here in this game. I think if Miami gives the effort, then they won't lose. I'm not a fan of Tolzien at QB for Wisky at all. Before you play Wisky, just find some other reasons to tell me they will cover the number, other than, because 70% of the betting "public" is on them. I love playing the dogs. I just dont see much value or bite in this one.

I hammered this game because i know the badgers pretty well. Don't care about Lang, get a life, i cap my own games and i have miami by ten. you do what you want. This is how i feel, and i put it out the day after i bet it. I don't wait to see what certain guys are playing, that would make me a follower. My guys have made money 7 straight years, betting my games, not someone elses. Good luck, it's your choice, i am not always right, but i do my homework, and have done pretty we'll on big ten teams over the years.kurby to the bank!!!!!!!!

Didn't mean to offend. It's a square play. Vegas is sucking people into taking Miami. Short spread, looks easy. These are the games Vegas cleans up on. I could be wrong, we will find out. Lang being on them is just the icing on the cake for me. Wisconsin will control this game from start to finish. I can't wish you good luck, because I'm opposite of you and I want to win.:0corn

good luck. some don't understand when you know a certain team well, your actually betting for or against that one team, not so much the other team. Looking at the speed and matchups and knowing this wisconsin defense like i do and what they have trouble with ! I believe miami's qb will give them fits like lessor teams in the big ten did against them. ARROW

I hear ya Arrow. Tolzien is a better than average QB for Sconie. What does that mean? Absolutely nothing. WI is a running team, always have always will. Not sure how much I am wagering, but WI SOS is weak and played two decent teams this season and lost.

Added bonus, Randy Shannon is a far better coach than Bielema!

Hope the Badgers backers follow and I will grab Miami -3.

Well, I hope it comes through for you. I like it very much as well. But I didn't put 250 units on it. I just made it one of the top five plays in my bowl confidence pool.
