Ride
Of course letting it ride is the safest way to go as you clearly were on the right side for the first half and would have to lose by 16 to lose the play.
My thinking though is that you may miss an opportunity here. You certainly may and should win your original bet but a middle gives you both an opportunity to win extra money and covers you in case disaster happens.
For example, if you originally bet Canisius plus 9 for say, $110 to win $100 it is clear what would happen. With a line of Fairfield minus 7 for the second half, I think there is more than enough of a middle to try for with say half your bet....$55 to win $50.
Thus you would be as follows :
Canisius wins outright : Plus $45
Fairfield wins by 1 : Plus $100
Fairfield wins by 2 to 8 : Plus $150!
Fairfield wins by 9 : Plus $50.
Fairfield wins by 10 or more : Minus $60.
To me that scenerio would be more appealing than :
Canisius wins outright or losses by 8 or less : Plus $100.
Fairfield wins by 9 : Even.
Fairfield wins by 10 or more : Minus $110.
My opinion is the extra 50 bucks on Fairfield winning by 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 is worth the risk. Plus you limit the losses if Fairfield storms out in the second half as they are the favorite.
Good luck as I will be hoping you win but wanted to show you how I play it if the opportunity of a decent middle arises. Go Canisius!

Fairfield will have to outscore Canisius by 16 for me to lose. It can happen but will take my chances
